a brief synopsis of jonas lyn: 1979-83? born. 1986 heard dad singing along to peter paul and mary, crosby stills and nash, and john denver.
1989 my younger brother was better than me at violin.
The '90's: 1991 tried to play trombone, failed music class because i couldn't make a real note on a recorder. 1995 found a guitar with 4 strings on it. 1995 smashed first guitar by falling on it, tripping on a seat belt. 1996 started writing songs after learning a couple chords. 1997-98 wrote, stole, played for a couple punk bands-"categorical imperative" and "miscellaneous". 1999 moved out on my own with a best friend, a bicycle, a guitar, and an answering machine.
2002 first solo road trip across the us. 2003 first trips off of the north american continent, played music in taiwan, australia, spain, and denmark.
2005-present living in st louis mo, i apprentice a luthier and play music as Jonas Lyn (Jonas, Jonas II, Lyn, St. Michael, Zoran, and more)locally, regionally, and nationally.
