*My husband, Dave, and I moved to Nashville, TN from Arizona in September of 2006. This past December we welcomed our little girl, Lucy Love Heller, into our family. We are truly blessed!
Dave and I have the unique privilege of writing songs and playing music for a living. We travel most weeks out of the month to share our hearts with people all across the country. We've been full-time musicians since we were married over five years ago, and we've been able to watch each other grow in artistry and in love.
My husband plays the guitar and provides backup vocals and comic relief when we perform. I don't think I can ever comprehend what a treasure I have in such a man who is willing to place me in the spotlight ahead of himself. Our official band-name is JJ Heller, but Dave is perhaps a bigger part of this than I am, and I know that I could never do this without him. Sharing the stage with my husband is one of the greatest joys of my life.
In our short musical career, Dave and I have been able to release four full-length records and two EPs. Painted Red (November 2008), The Pretty & The Plain (2007), Wake Up The World (Christmas EP - 2007), Only Love Remains (2006), Collection of Thoughts *EP (2005), and Songs That I Know (2004).
We had the awesome privilege of working with producer MITCH DANE (grammy award-winning engineer of Jars of Clay) at Sputnik Sound in Nashville, TN for the past three years. We couldn't be happier with the way that Mitch truly captures the spirit of our music.
Music has a way of speaking to my heart like nothing else can. It is my hope and prayer that my songs will somehow speak to you and bring you hope, peace and inspiration. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.

I just wanted to say that i love your song "love me". my ex-boyfriend is in jail right now waiting to get sentenced and when i went to visit with him the other day he told me about your song. He said someone in there sang it in there and he said that that song touched him. He said the whole room was quiet and everyone loved it. They even asked the guy who sang your song to please sing it again. Just thought i would let you know that your music is touching people that are in jail. I also love the song and think your awesome. This is so random, but i was watching "So You Think You Can Dance" last night and one of the dancers trying out danced to your song. i've never heard of you before but I loved the song she used. So I went on "So You Think You Can Dance" website and surched till i found the song i heard on the show and it was yours! And now I love you! Wow! I love your music so much. I love the song love me for me. The first time I heard it, I just got so teareid eyed, I was amazed, and every time I hear that song again, I just feel his word talking to me through your music, and it just blows me away.
At the time I was really broken hearted, and that song help me through alot, I was trying to finish massage therapy school, and I also went back to high school, I admit with a broken heart it was hard, but God showed me he loved me every time I heard that song, I would play it over and over again, in my car, at home, on my cd player at school during breaks.
And I was able to finish at the top of my class, and everytime I hear again, I just feel like I can do anything, becuase I have Gods, love and your songs just really helped me out through it.
