Bio:

jKb is a jazz group brimming with fierce poly rhythms and dramatic phrasing. Their sound scape ranges from total free improvisations to structured tunes. As well as freely create their own material, they perform many hard-bop and blues standards. Guest vocalist Lisa Trenary also lends her amazing voice to many of these standards, reminiscent of the stylings of Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. All together, their exhilarating music has a complex rhythmic framework, often combining rock, funk, swing, and latin figures.
