Font color=White> Rock: Jim Morrison is a heavy influence on me, has been since I first started reading his work - and became perhaps, moreso, when I began listening to his music years later. Melissa Ethridge and Kurt Cobain also had heavy influences in what I enjoy in artists - Cobain, all of his stuff - Ethridge, when she was still rocking the stage. And Jakob Dylan/The Wallflowers, since their inception in 1992, to their reincarnation of 1996. Tom Petty - the Storytellers of Rock. Hurst/Econoline Crush, Moist, Duncan Sheik, Jamie Walters, Aerosmith, Metallica, STP, Son Volt (one of my current favorites, with their CD "Trace"), Bon Jovi/Jon Bon Jovi/Jon Bon Jovi, 3rd Eye Blind, Blues Traveler, Pink Floyd, Clapton/Cream, Bush, NIN, The Killers, Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Damien Rice, Moist, Matchbox 20, Dido Armstrong, The Goo Goo Dolls, Garbage (What are you listening to? Garbage. "That's right". oog.), Sheryl Crow, The Cure and quite a few others. Country gave me Johnny Cash, who I identified with instantly, but has also stretched out into The Dixie Chicks, The Wreckers, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, etc., etc.

I think Sarah McLachlan has one of the best voices I have ever heard - and music has a stronghold on my life that just seems to never let up.

And so we rise into the darkness to see the light in the dawn of our days.  May the journey open your mind to the coming weekend.......and ever there-after.   ~ Vycriss

May the coming Tuesday be less harsh than the passing Monday.  But if you find that Monday is duplicating itself, close your eyes and sing a dream of a better Wednesday which hopefully finds you waking to the beginning of a wide open weekend............and for those of you that work on weekends, go back to sleep.    ~Vycriss~
