Anybody who is able absorb information, process it, make your own decisions based on it, and act on it. Don't be a follower...be a leader. And do not believe something because everyone around you did...research and make decisions on your own. The journey to do so it a eye opening experience.
I spent a couple years after graduating Princeton, in the Peace Corps, primarily working in Southern Chile and Northern Mongolia. Met some very nice people. "Click....click.click....clickclickclick" (That is a shout out to Bopomo, a native whom I taught how to play the pan flute and became friends with).
After returning to the states, I served briefly as Secretary of the Interior for the great state of Idaho. I served the the last year of the term vacated by the Honorable Gregory Franklin, who was chosen as the US Ambassador to the Principality of Sealand.
Microsoft then made me a offer that I could not refuse. So I worked with Bill, primarily spearheading the Doors 95 Operating system. After I left, Bill phoned me and asked if renaming the operating system to Windows 95 would be OK with me.
After a brief vacation I began to tour the Universities speaking about my experiences with the Mentally Challenged in Chile and how I came about the cure for Post-micturition convulsion syndrome.
I received an Honorary Doctorate from Harvard, thanks to my publication in the "New England Journal of Medicine" titled, "Exporatory Reasoning into the Human Male's 40 something Memory Loss". Which I based on a intensive study of 1801 men at Cambridge University and in the Boston suburbs.
I next spent some time working in my homeshop and invented a compact disk that holds 18GB of data, primary video. I sold the prototype, which I called an AVD(Advanced Video Disk) to Phillips which has since renamed it "DVD" and has had success thus far in the market. I continued working to improve the AVD quality even after licensing it to Phillips, using a blue laser. This technology vastly improved the AVD quality, and was licensed to Sony to be marketed at "blueray".
While working on the AVD, I wrote two techno-thriller Novels, MetroWeb and Future-Today, both of which are published through Waterhouse in London.
I now spend my time writing in my journal tinkering with new ideas. One of my latest endeavors is a non-nuclear cereal varnish, that will seal in a cereal's crunch, as well as lubricate snow saucer bottoms.
(True) Facts About Me (in no particular order):
I remember everything...I mean EVERYTHING!!!
I'm always honest, brutally honest (unless I'm playing a prank on you)
I've nearly killed all of my close friends one way or another (Linds' day is coming)
I'll do anything for friends
I have no respect for people who form their beliefs and opinions on "because we always did it that way".
The Whiteboard is one of the greatest inventions ever!! I love brainstorming.
I think humans are the dirtiest animals to roam Earth...only we mess our own nest.
I believe we will never break our dependence on fossil fuels until we run out. Go ahead...by a Hummer dumb ass, it just speeds up the inevitable
I think Manatees suck! Really screws up the wakeboarding and kneeboarding in Brevard county.
If I didn't live here, I'd live in Colorado
I do not talk on a cell phone in a resturant and I want to shove the phones down the throat of those that do, expecially the Nextels.
I'm a big picture person and I'm always looking at situations through other's eyes.
I trust everyone, until given a reason not to
I force people (not just my kids) to find solutions and solve problems on their own....independence is a dying quality
I believe that we are all products of our choices, both good and bad. Your entire life is defined by the choices you make.
I watch about 2 hours or less of TV (idiot box) per week
I think memories are the most important binding agent of humans. Every relationship you have, it based 100% on memories, like it or not. Cherish them.
People that act ignorant or stupid to avoid thinking or working need to not breed
I don't have pity for people that are in hardship due to their inability to learn from their poor choices in life
Change is good!
The best thing for any marriage is isolation! I think all people who get married should move somewhere where they are totally independent of their friends and family, for a couple of years. Learn to be only dependent on each other.
I think that success is measured by happiness and contentment, not by money.
That is was a great pic and a great time. It was so cool to see that and have the time to stop and get a great shot. That is cool it is being published...do you get royalties?
