J.K.L’s full name is Justin Kingland, USA based vocalist, composer and co-producer. The 3rd son of a strong Christian family of both businessman and woman, JKL was born in 14 April. His junior school was St. John and St. Augustin School both in Aguleri and Umuoba-Anam. He was later addmited to St John..s Seminary Akpo but then completed his secondary education at Union sec. Agulu. He also attended Rima collage Kuala Lumpur Malaysia where he studied B.A, a member of ABE and Impiana School of art Malaysia Justin started embracing music with his peers as early as the age of eight in the church. JKL says : “I was always singing (at home,Church, school, in the car),always, but I chose to keep it to myself - maybe because at the time I was not confident enough. When asked, he said’’’ I have since developed myself as an artist, merging my talent with other musicians. I look up to God for my ultimate inspiration, from my peers I’m inspired by Buju Banton, U Roy, Joseph Hill and the late great Bob Marley and many more. I especially love reggae dancehall. I am all about positive vibes, music that makes people happy. The message I try to really put across is oneness, as we are all one in the eyes of our creator. JKL stepped onto the show bizz in 1994 when he first recorded his demo at JEFF studio in Galiki Enugu produced by Sam Teo Onuorah followed by Launching of his 1st debut in his home town Agulu in August 14th 1995 with huge applauses and credits, Justin release his first single GUN_MAN recorded @ Rogers All Stars Studio in Umuokpu Awka by Jeff produced by Sam Teo, The Album was not released in Nigerian but in Ghana where he met with late Nichoniel Daniel a Jamaican who leads him into show bizz and stage performance. In 2004 after his musical strugling through out the Wst Coast of Africa Justin decided to leave Africa for greener pastures to Malaysia where he recorded his single Oneness then he was known as Justin Prophet. In 2005 Justin was working on his Album when he met King Lhota and formed the group I and I combination in their first album titled JAH HAS DECIDED under Bronze land Production/I and I combination 2006/2007. As an African with a passion for his mother-land nature and music has driven him to all corners of the World in search of pure musical fun, inspiration and motivation, at the same time jaming, meeting and networking with some wonderful people along the way. Two albums were bone as a result and now he is working and promoting the third album titled: 14 years 2Grace. JKL is a warrior on Jah..s mission, a reggea and dancehall advocates.
