Once upon a time the earth was a gigantic cloud of hot gas. Later came dinosaurs, the written word and then truckstops. And sometime after that j.kleinberg was conscious as a nine year old kid staring at a bedroom wall in los angeles wondering, “will I ever go anywhere?”. Then one day, he went somewhere.
Now he is playing music around the world as a solo artist and with Diego’s Umbrella. He also gives fiddle lessons in San Francisco and realizes that things haven’t changed much since the cloud of hot gas because things are still constantly changing…birth, death, love, attachment, suffering, tater tots, swiss chard, japan, europe, music, words, nothing, everything, you, me, us, stuff, things and THIS, even this. thanks for everything...no complaints whatsoever,
a) thank you for accepting me as your my-space friend
b) THANK YOU for the wonderful music you played here in berlin at the "schokoladen". PLEASE let me know, when you're back in my town, i would love to hear more from you.
sadly i ran out of money, so i couldn't buy your cd.
hey i just watched your videos, very cool. i love the soundtrack for the kitchen table one (is that brad's old house? aka your house?) can i buy/download it somehow? what about the cat, can i buy or download the cat?
Hey J. I am listening to "Boy meets girl" as I type and thinking about how much I like that song and all the extra sound candy that you layered into it. Nice work, my friend, nice work. See you soon.
Jason,
Hope all is well. Are you still in Europe? Here is my spiel...
We have a timely new song release on our myspace page. A very rough mix of Radius's new song Halloween. This mix does not yet have the backing vocals and harmonium of Gabrielle, (plus I am a little out of key and need another go at it) and added keyboards but we wanted to get it out before Halloween. Enjoy....
Hey Hey Jason! I had the honor to see you perform live in Hamburg at this very tiny place (Astrastube) you had to play. I just wanted to tell you that I thought it was great and I absolutely love your music and I also regret it a lot now, that I didn't buy your CD when I had the chance to haha. So keep it up and hopefully you will play here again some time! Greets from Hamburg, Marlen
your fiddling wizardry was incredible man. That's the best version of orange blossom I've heard yet-including the recording- heh heh. I should be just getting into tracking when you return.
Thanks for posting the comment on my my space. It's good to hear from you, though I'm surprised you didn't just give a call old-school style. But I guess that's how the kids do it these days.
Your pal,
Joel
P.S. - Nice show last night. You sounded great, and I had a blast.
P.P.S. - Say hello to Neli for me.
P.P.P.S. - When is the next 86 practice?
P.P.P.P.S. - Why don't you ever call anymore?
Hey there, I hope your Hotel Utah show is full and fantastic! I'll be down at the House of Shields on 4/29 and at the Ivy Room on 4/30 (5pm). Looking forward to it.
