Poems Lovely Lady dressed in blue,
Teach me how to pray.
God was just your little boy,
Tell me what to say.
Did you lift Him , sometimes,
Gently on your knee?
Did you sing to him the way mother does to me?
Did you ever try telling him stories of the world?
And oh, did He cry?
Do you think He cares if I tell you things,
Just little things that happen?
And do angels wings make a noise?
Can He hear me if I speak low?
Does He understand me now?
Tell me, for you know.
Lovely Lady dressed in blue
Teach me how to pray,
God was just your little boy
And you know the way.

About me:
The name is Jessica and I'm twenty years-old. I'm double-majoring at Ivy Tech Community College and my majors are criminal justice and respiratory care. I work at Tree of Life and I also run my family's stencil manufacturing business.

I'm a (somewhat) recent convert to Catholicism, which was a major turning point in my life...my spiritual life was finally fulfilled once I found the Catholic church.

My mom is, always has been, and always will be my best friend.

So, that pretty much sums up my life.

Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who has made a positive impact on our world.

Hey Jess. The position we need in my department hasn't been posted yet. Bloomington Hospital is incredibly slow about getting things like that done, God Bless em'. But I will let you know as soon as they do post it. It would be awsome if we could have the same job. I am starting Radiolgy in the Fall so my hours are going to go way down, so I really need to get someone trained soon! But if you get another position offer let me know! Later.

Sep 23 2007 7:51 AM

Haha, if you are out of the loop half the people i know are. It all happened pretty rapidly. I just decided that I was going to transfer and decided to come down here in like the end of June. But yeah, I love it. I love this town...always have. It is a lot of fun being so close to my family and friends down here too. You will have to come down and see Shalin and I sometime. Hopefully I can get home soon (and have a moment of peace when I get there) so we can do something. My family is having a hayride at the end of Oct. I think a lot of people are coming..you should come to that. Well have a great day!

Jess,

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”
Jn.11:25

What do you need to come back to life?

Thank you for your love and prayers during our time of need with the passing away of my father in law.

Your comments and messages have been a great source of encouragement as we read them together.

Indeed, thank you for your friendship.

Have a blessed Lord’s day,

Jim

The Secret
One day, one friend asked another,
"How is it that you are always so happy?
You have so much energy,
and you never seem to get down."

With her eyes smiling, she said,
"I know the Secret!"
"What secret is that?"
To which she replied,
"I'll tell you all about it,
but you have to promise to
share the Secret with others"

"The Secret is this:
I have learned there is little I can do
in my life that will make me truly happy.
I must depend on God to make
me happy and to meet my needs.
When a need arises in my life,
I have to trust God to supply
according to HIS riches.
I have learned most of the time
I don't need half of what I think I do.
He has never let me down.
Since I learned that 'Secret', I am happy."

The questioner's first thought was,
"That's too simple!"
But upon reflecting over her own life
she recalled how she thought a bigger house
would make her happy, but it didn't!
She thought a better paying job
would make her happy, but it hadn't.
When did she realize her greatest happiness?
Sitting on the floor with her grandchildren,
playing games, eating pizza or reading a story,
a simple gift from God.

Now you know it too!
We can't depend on people to make us happy.
Only GOD in His infinite wisdom can do that.
Trust HIM!
And now I pass the Secret on to you!
So once you get it, what will you do?

YOU have to tell someone the Secret, too!
That GOD in His wisdom will take care of YOU!
But it's not really a secret...
We just have to believe it and do it...
Really trust God!

Just Pass It On!
Do your best; let God do the rest.

Have a blessed day my precious friend!
Andy
