About me:
Gigs: Every Tuesday w/ String Theory @ Johnny's Irish Pub, Rochester Sept. 14 Artwalk w/ Ruckus Juice Jug Stompers Oct. 4 Private Party w/ Ruckus Juice Jug Stompers, Rochester Oct. 5 Morris' Bar, Skaeneatles w/ String Theory I am a professor and a musician. I play guitar and kazoo in Rochester's premier jug band, Ruckus Juice Jug Stompers. Check out our MySpace page. I am also currently sitting in for, but certainly not replacing, Terry of the best bluegrass band in Rochester, String Theory. Check their MySpace page also. I feel lucky to play with such wonderful people and musicians. Please go to http://krackephotography.blogspot.com/ Click on the New Orleans Habitat for Humanity link and view pictures of my recent New Orleans trip with School Without Walls.
Who I'd like to meet:
Old time and bluegrass musicians and music lovers. A mandolin player, a fiddler, a bass player, a banjo player, and a guitar player who would like to be in a band. A dobro player would be pretty cool too.

We build up whole cultural intellectual patterns based on past 'facts' which are extremely selective. When a new fact comes in that does not fit the pattern we don't throw out the pattern. We throw out the fact. A contradictory fact has to keep hammering and hammering and hammering, sometimes for centuries, before maybe one or two people see it. And then these one or two have to start hammering on others for a long time before they see it too . . . Seeing is not believing. Believing is seeing.
