Originally from Leigh, Lancashire, I had an active interest in the arts, particularly music, from an early age. I have been drumming now for fourteen years and gigging for ten of them.
My love of music, and drumming, has seen me perform in Nice, the Czech Republic and New York, finally setting me down in Preston, Lancashire, where I now live.
Along the way I have met and performed with some amazing people. Here are a few of them:
Jelly's Last Jam
My current band, based in Preston. We seem to be doing quite well! As well as drumming I manage the band.
Nick McCabe
I met former Verve guitarist McCabe at a party in Wigan, where he saw me drum. We got talking and set a date together for a jam in a recording studio. It's six years on and Nick's just putting the finishing touches to the recordings!
Larry Norman
For almost thirty years the press has referred to Larry as “the father of Christian rock” because it he was one of the first who first combined rock and roll with Christian lyrics. I played drums for him on three dates of his 2001 UK tour.
Bill Sims Jr
Had an ace jam with Bill at The Bitter End in New York City!
Further to this I have played on countless recordings and sessions, and performed over 600 live gigs!
I have been teaching drums since 2001, and currently teach at Kirkham Music School.

Just thought I'd pop by to tell you I won't be coming to the Ferret gig on the 11th August cos we've got a gig on the same day, but I should be at the Septemeber one
Also, we're playing in the 2nd Round of the Venue BOTB on friday, we're not arsed about it so we're just gonna take the piss out of the hardcore bands we're playing against, so it should be a laugh
Great memories there, Stix. Must have been a great day out at Riverside Studios. Recall seeing them on TFI, but can't remember which song it was. They appeared twice, I think. Take care!
This is an auto-message, for which I apologise, but it doesn"t mean I don"t love you. Just trying to let everyone know that my newest tracks are available for your listening pleasure on my myspace page so go and have a listen, or all my effort was for nothing. LOL.
Hope you have a lovely day.

You can’t stop circusfilms. No sir, circusfilms can’t be stopped. Why would you even try? Why? We’re an unstoppable, can’t be stopped force which you can’t even stop. Why are you trying to stop us? What has circusfilms ever done to you?
Apart from that one thing that we did, of course, which was a long time ago now and you said you’ve forgiven circusfilms for that. circusfilms thought that we’d both moved on. Are you still angry? Jesus, how many different ways can we say sorry. This is driving us apart.
Let’s build some bridges by you watching our brand new mini-episode.
I miss you :(. I get to see you tomorrow :). Not seeing you for 2 weeks drives me CRAZY. I NEED my Andy.
I LOVE YOU honey. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
