Jill Susan Zutty was born and raised on Long Island, NY and currently resides in the Princeton, NJ area. She writes about life experiences and current issues through all different styles of music. Her influences growing up through today include such artists as:
Joni Mitchell Judy Collins Carly Simon Sheryl Crow Melissa Etheridge Alanis Morissette Jewel Shawn Colvin Sara McLachlan and Tori Amos.
She recently recorded her first 2 CDS and fulfilled one of her life
long dreams!
Her CD-“Look into my Heart” is the more mellow CD and contains songs that are of a pop and country style. This CD features: the title song “Look Into My Heart” along with “Where The Heartache Lies”, “Innocence of Babes” and “You're With Me In My Heart”-a tribute song written for 9-11.
Her CD “Cold Dark Night” is the more alternative rock CD. And contains pop songs of a darker nature. It also contains a couple of dark ballads as well.
The titles featured on this CD are “Cold Dark Night”, “Loss of Innocence and Grace”, “Where Am I Really? ”, “Suicide Mission”, and “You're With Me In My Heart.”
Jill's 3rd and most recent CD "You Turn Me On" is her Mainstream CD where her music takes on a different style! Jill writes with a more radio friendly upbeat vibe ala Michele Branch, Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow, Matchbox, etc. Her extremely catchy melodies and grooves make you want to sing and dance and her lyrics just suck you in!!!
There are 20 Tracks on this single CD!
It begins with the “Take my Hand” which was recorded and dedicated especially for the National Foundation for Cancer Research!
Jill is working with the NFCR and will be donating part of the proceeds from the sale of her CDs to help find cures for the many different types of cancers.
Her CD also includes the title song "You Turn Me On", “All I Want is You", “Paralyzed", “ I am Me” " We Gotta Change”, and “Let it Go.”
Jill continues to write frequently so that she can share her music with the world! In addition to writing for herself, she hopes to write for other artists as well as for film and television.
Her music can be found online as well as in major record stores throughout the country and she can be heard on public radio in the USA as well as internationally.
Jill also has a compilation CD with Discover Girls that benefits the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and is in stores across the nation as well as online.
