JLoveMusic is a deeply creative and exciting singer/song writer, born in Hackney in the early 80's. At the age of 15 whilst at a residential, he discovered his talent, when asked to sing the lead in the song If I Ever Fall In Love by Shai.
From there, the group Seven Shades, was born. A cross between Boyz II Men and Nsync. However there were many changes in group members before long the group disbanded, which acted as quite a blow, making him slightly reluctant to carry on.
But the desire had not stopped and the passion would be reignited after winning the prize for the singing section of the 2001 Brunel University talent show. Which witnessed the emergence of his second group, Soul Essence, bringing a City High feel to the UK.
After some time the group members finally outgrew each other and sought to further define themselves as artists in their own right. From there jlovemusic was born, the definition of the artist, the lover of music in its purest form. With his 5 piece collective of wonderfully talented musicians now known as the Academy of Soul he realised that it was time to finally take a stand and grab hold of the dream. Since then, jlovemusic and the Academy of Soul have risen from strength to strength performing at venues all over london, captivating and enchanting audiences with the smooth yet dymanic sound simply known as jlovemusic.
