TITAN: Who is strong enough to hold up the weight of the world? In Greek mythology, the Titans were a race of powerful deities that ruled during the legendary Golden Age. While some claim the golden age of hip hop is over, some stand defiant to media stereotypes and trends made only to box in cultural art, label minorities as fools, and sell ignorance to profit higher powers unconcerned about our people; JMack is an MC and an artist's artist, he has been an active member and collaborator in DFW Hip Hop for the past several years. He has opened up for artists such as Big Tuck and Killer Mike. More than just an artist, JMack is a volunteer for the community and a friend to anyone wanting to uplift themselves including other artists. The thunderous toned titan holds the most intense stage presence with breath control only of an elite MC. Crossing all lanes of music from Hip Hop, to Indie and Experimental (his much anticipated "Prodigal Sun EP" which will be released by Perfect Arrangement), JMack stands to prove the south is not the reason for the demise of this culture we hold close to our hearts. He brings a positive message hidden in his music amongst topics not easily discussed in regular conversation let alone music. But he also has a darker side of raw emotion long forgotten by most artists and fans. Too much focus has been placed on not only catchiness, but political correctness when other genres of music are allowed to bring complete explicitness and are never demanded to be censored. JMack will be immediate in silencing anyone claiming that hip hop, one of the purest forms of raw energy, should be the only genre of music to change up their lyrics to appease people who are not even interested in knowing about the culture.
Good for you!!! Any big breaks into the industry yet? I have started putting applications in online for Phoenix. I am an assistant analyst for Time. I am really interested in Healthcare and fashion industry, but id like to end up doing something with finance or accounting. Far and in between but those are my interests. I will probably end up being an analyst when I graduate. I am really considering graduate school but I am not sure what I would like to get my degree in. I have a connection through my uncle with someone who works at NYU, I am going to get the scoop on what it takes to get into their grad school. It is crazy to hear what everyone is up to since we have left high school. SOOOO many people are parents, married....never went to college. I have a problem with young marriage and children without any education but thats just me being sensible and smart.

I graduate in a year and I still don't know what I want to do when I graduate. I have been here in New Jersey since June doing an internship with Time Warner, I go back to Phoenix the end of September.
