    After competing nationally in tumbling/stunting at the age of fifteen, Jerome Mandrake began his career as a visual instructor, teaching trampoline and Tumbling professionally for the city since 1999. This landed him the post of instructor/choreographer for the "Vancouver Circus School" in 2007. Jerome has used his training in movement to help bring his music to stages across North America. Winning Virgin Radios "Best independent track in B.C" in 2010 for his track "Miss you, Miss you" and multiple official performances for VANOC during the 2010 Olympic Games are a few of his accomplishments. In his cover story in 2008s Xtra West article about his work, Mandrake was quoted saying 'The queer scene in Vancouver is run on artistic people. Yet for a community that is known for its art, the entertainment is really lacking,' Mandrake continues to live by that understanding of the stage.
