As far as members go....Armstrong Jr and I are in charge of the sounds, but Zach Shore is the man. He has made wicked remixes and makes me sound good! thanks man! Also, James Sadoway makes my heart pitter patter, you rule dude! We also have an array of awesome dancers that make our show a show: Alex, Suzanne, Stella, Araba, Jill, Megan, Daria, Chito, Josh and Julien....thank you:)
Influences
I hold my head down in shame when i say that I love pop music. Something about a thick harmony over a dancy beat has always got me going. The first album I bought was the Spice Girls "Spice" album , and I've been hooked since. Now I listen to alot of british pop music, but Im into pretty much anything with a good melody, and a great preformance to back it up. Armstorn Jr. ( the albums producer) is a huge influence. I admire him, and am so grateful for the work he has done on my project. Micheal Jackson is awesome too......super talent. Learned alot from him.

Sounds Like
I've been told that it sounds a bit like Darren Hayes, but I think it sounds a bit more like Jerome Mandrake I could handle the scissor sisters too!!

Jerome Mandrake started singing, songwriting at the age of fifteen with longterm friend/guitarist Adam Patrick. Although the lyrics and tunes were plentiful, Mandrake never took his work to the stage until March 2003 when he entered in a local singing contest....the west end idol. The competition went for a total of twelve weeks, each episode relieving the contest of one contestant until only one remained, Mandrake.
The victory of the contest inspired new confidence and motivation in Mandrake, who then, with co-writer Adam Patrick, began to work on his first album. The album was released in summer 2003, and Mandrake and Patrick started a series of shows to premote thier work complete with dancers , choreography and live music. The show brought Jerome headlining Vancouvers Pride Celebrations that year, as well as many other shows in the Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle area.
Two years later, a more established Mandrake began working with producer/writer Armstrong Jr. , and a team was formed. Jerome and Armstrong Jr. took on a new album for Mandrake titled Affirmation. Affirmation was released in November 2007 , and the newly formed team created a new act, complete with dancers, costumes, choreography and mixed and mastered tracks. The show has proven to be a huge success, and the demand for Mandrake and his show continues to rise. With acts ranging from a full c.d release party at Celebrities night club, to opening for pop superstar Deborah Cox, Jerome Mandrake and Armstrong Jr. are thrilled of the adventure that life has thrown thier way, and can't wait to see what the future will bring.
