The commercialization of R&B, as a result of over priced music videos, digital voice alteration and the “image is everything” mentality has left a rather foul taste in the mouth of true music aficinadoes and “real” song lovers alike. There is a large market of music fans waiting to hear from a true representative of the music. A singer, songwriter, and musician that has a melodic voice with the ability to hit every note with precision as well as, play several instruments has become obsolete. Today’s average fan has been denied the opportunity to hear pre-sampled, pre-computerized beautifully written and composed songs. J- Marc has arrived and is on a mission to put the rythmn back in R&B. J-Marc, a 26 year-old singing dynamo, hailing from Bridgeport, Connecticut possesses the talent, passion and hunger necessary not only to survive in this multi-faceted, fast paced industry, but to persevere as well, and become the next big thing.
J-Marc is a music teacher in Connecticut and has literally been singing for most of his life. For the 15+ years that he has been singing, from the Church to the stage, J-Marc has made quite an impression on anyone that has witnessed his genius. He has won several Amatuer Nights at the Apollo and has performed at venues such as the Summer Fest at the Meadowlands opening for K-Ci and Jojo, Ludacris, Dave Hollister and Case. In addition, J-Marc has worked with platinum recording artists Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Lopez. J-Marc is ready to share his ability and passion with the world.
