MySpace a place for friends

Hi, my name is Jim Matera and I'm the creator and author of www.YourLegacyMentors.com . I started this MySpace profile because I got really sick and tired of my 9-5 job. I was working as a corporate executive for a division of Cox Enterprises Inc. I just hated working for someone else! That's why I started my own internet business online. Before I get into all that...let me just tell you a little bit more about myself.

Originally from "The Bronx" New York, I live in Wilton Connecticut. This confuses my friends because I'm a huge Mets fan. In fact, I think that I'm the only guy born in the Bronx who isn't a Yankee fan. Reason being is that I moved to Connecticut when I was eight years old and just getting into baseball. It just so happened (as rare as it may seem) that the Mets were much better than the Yankees at the time so they became my favorite team. Make sense? So, other than baseball I played and love hockey. Especially New York Ranger hockey. I know, so far that's two tough teams route for. What can I say, I'm a gluten for punishment. In the warmer weather I have two other passions...golf and boating. It used to be hard to find time to do both but that changed when I started my internet business but we'll get to that in a minute.

Did I mention that I'm married? Two years ago I married my lovely wife Katarina. What a pistol she is...she's from Slovakia but been in the states for ten years now and we're having a blast together! Anyway, I'm probably boring you by now so lets talk about why I started my internet business and why it's the greatest thing I've ever done!!!

Here I was, doing my little 9-5 and let me tell you, it sucked! Let me paint the picture. I get up in the morning to the most annoying alarm clock in the world. I think to myself...the person who made this clock really had the intention of ruining somebody's day and used that sound to accomplish his/her goal. I get up and drag myself to the shower and put on my "business casual" clothes which almost feel like a uniform. I can't help but to laugh every time I look in the mirror because that's not really me. I belong in a tee shirt, jeans and flip flops. Then comes the real fun...getting in the car so I can hurry up to go nowhere fast. I'm talking bumper to bumper traffic almost all the way to work. I only live 12 miles from work but it takes me 45 minutes to get there and at least the same to get back home during rush hour. When I do finely get to work, I have to pass through security which feels like another 45 minutes of waiting. The whole thing just takes way too long! The way I figure it, I'm spending any where from a hour and a half to two and a half hours in my car each day. And this was when gas was reasonable!!! This finally took a toll on me and I wanted to make a change before I got too old and was saying "could have, should have, would have etc...

It was then that I started to look for a profession in which I could control my own destiny. I wanted to make real money and call the shots. Well...call it lucky or call it skill but I found it on the web and now I'm happier than I thought I ever could be. I started by researching all of the "get rich at home" MLM scams and lies that I could find until I narrowed it down to a few opportunties that I thought were on the up and up and totally legitimate. After a month of evaluating the top contenders I narrowed it down to two that I would get serious about. Two more weeks and I felt like I had the winner and thankfully today I can say that I'm with the winner!!!

I joined this company and at first was a little overwhelmed with having to learn some new online technology (I'm not the most computer literate person you know) and before long I was actually making money. Holy cow, this wasn't so hard afterall I thought to myself. I was working half the time I did when I had a boss over my shoulder and now making more money. The promise this new company gave me was real. "If you put in some time you'll have results and feel like a new man" is what they told me.

Guess what, now in the summer I have time to both play golf and go boating, how great is that! My wife loves it too because we get to spend tons of time together now instead of whinning to each other about our work day.
