Yeah, I saw that one, I modified it's shift linkage to get another trans working. If I had the dough right now I'd have grabbed the block, pedal box and rear subframe to switch to the newer style. I picked up a 81' 320i for most of that just before the 02 showed up.. but at least it has some rims, brakes and 5 speed I can use! I was thinking of a cheap fuel injected swap cause I couldnt find a nice 2 liter at the time. I want to get it running in the 3 before I put it in the 1600. Thanks for looking out though! It's slowly coming along.

Funny thing- the rolled 02 you mentioned.. I do know who got it, he came by the other day and it's in his 68 1600 now(the white one). Apparently the engine was destined for a 68 1600 either way.
Nope, but I looked into a few.. I finally found and got the rest of my clutch so I can do that and all the shift linkage for now and just drive it until I have enough of the suspension saved up to be worth more downtime. Someday it'll be a car again!
