I'm also an avid viewer of the John Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Keith Olbermann shows. And Sandi and I both LOVE "Friday Night Lights."

I think watching a football (or baseball) game on the telly is preferable to actually being there because you see only what's happening without the distractions of rowdy fans, $8 beers and $20 parking. | | Books | "Fiasco," by Thomas Ricks...Augusten Burroughs' hilarious, "Running with Scissors."..."Walk this Way," by Aerosmith, "The DaVinci Code" and many more. | | Heroes | My wife. About me:
Jim here...
I'm a veteran radio and television talent/musician/writer. Currently I am the evening news writer and reporter for Talk Radio 760 KFMB, as well as the afternoon drive-time traffic reporter for its sister station, Jack FM. In addition,I fill-in when needed on San Diego's only authentic jazz radio station, KSDS 88.3 FM.
I am also seen a few times a year on San Diego's public television station, KPBS-TV. It's one of the best stations of its kind in the country.
Oh, yeah...I was on 101.5 KGB every weekday between May of 1974 through October of 2002. Mention me to your parents...they'll know me.
I've been married for 24 years to Sandi, who's an executive with a San Diego TV station. The kids are all grown up and have moved out, but two of them live nearby so we can enjoy the grandchildren.
My personal website is at http://www.jimmcinnes.com. There, you can find links to my three other equally stupid sites.

Who I'd like to meet:
My paternal grandfather, Hugo, who died when I was 7, and my maternal grandfather, Nils, who died (in Sweden) way before I was born.
Among the living, I'd like to meet the Dalai Lama, Bill Clinton, Jake Peavy, Keith Olbermann, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Jack, CEO of Jack in the Box.
I'd also like t' meet Prez'dent George Dubya Bush. He's the deee-cider! Squee-haw!!
I AM happy to have met, interviewed and hung out with many of my childhood icons, including Doc Severinsen, Ed McMahon and the late Steve Allen, from the "Tonight Show," as well as The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin, Yoko Ono, Kinks guitarist Dave Davies, Rod Stewart, Bon Scott and Angus Young, Brian Auger, Eric Burdon, Vince Neil, Muddy Waters, ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Gene Simmons, Neil Young, The Ramones, Talking Heads, Rocket from the Crypt and original Mercury astronaut Scott Carpenter...to name but a few.
I'm just too hip for the room!
