About me:

I am one of you. I am concerned about jobs in Michigan, health care, education for our children, our grandchildren, and for ourselves. I am concerned about immediately ending the criminal war in Iraq. Throughout my lifetime in Michigan, I have been a part of most of the political spectrum in the United States. My first vote in a presidential election was for a Republican. Later I moved to the left and began voting for Democrats. The more I asked questions and the more I learned the further left I grew. I found that after a while, I had become a socialist in my thinking. I was born in Midland, Michigan in 1952. I was raised in mid-Michigan, raised my family in southern Michigan, and am now enjoying the Upper Peninsula. I have been a stay-home mom, a working mom, and now have the luxury of living close to my three grandchildren. I have been a secretary, tutor, and most recently an instructor at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. I look forward to working with you and proudly representing the people of Northern Michigan!
