I belong to a christian group and heard about this outstanding book by Laura Esther. A friend loaned it to me. After reading it cover to cover, I have to admit, it is an outstanding book.
My business is network marketing and I typically recommend classic self development books. The classics like Think and Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad and so on. For balance, I also recommend christian books by people like Rick Warren and Joel Osteen. I have now added this excellent book to my recommended list.
While the book is focused on people who have been through a divorce or other emotion shattering events, it is a great book to come back from any adversity. Very inspiring and informative.

This is a book of hope for those in the midst of despair or darkness in their lives, that Jesus is there, the light for our path. Laura goes through her life story, in the first part of the book, with its struggles and heartaches as well as the victories. She faces the problems with honesty as she seeks God and follows Him and comes to the knowledge of the truth. In the second part of the book she gives her insights on different aspects she has had to deal with in her life (single parenting, divorce, depression, forgiveness, etc.). With each subject, she gives Biblical references as she encourages others through what she has learned.
This book is for the believer to come to greater understanding or for the non-believer to see how God works and loves us in the midst of our lives.......................
Laura Esther knows first hand what it is to go through struggles and heartaches following after God. Through her life story she finds the “truth that set (us) free,” the truth of God’s love in the midst of our lives, and His Hand holding us through it all. She has struggled with life situations despite feelings of inferiority knowing the trials of the heartache of divorce and trying to raise two children while going to school and then working yet keeping them in the church. Who I'd like to meet: I would like people that are hurting or discouraged to have access to this book, especially but not limited to, the divorced Christian or non- Christian. Anyone who has lost someone dear will also benifit I believe because what I am trying to get across is to share that I know how it feels to really be hurting and then to see God shine His light in on our lives. Philosophy, tradition, or being worldly & politically correct will not gain anyone the freedom and liberty that our Lord Jesus Christ made available to us. But when we we love our neighbor as our self, then we gain great freedom, as we in our own way serve each other as God has enabled us.
