"Simultaneously abstract and raw, the thick blend of hip hop, spoken
word, and neo-soul from this Los Angeles MC is something worth
wrapping your head around. With a voice that is tailor made for
rapping as well as singing, she uses discretion when saturating the
tracks, creeping in and out of the forefront while echoing the beats
with vocal hits and jabs that are well placed and add a real density
to the mix. While the feel is at times somber and on the verge of
deadly serious, the songs maintain an allegiance to positivity that
isn't far beneath the surface. It's this look at the bright side that

Born and Raised in the city of Lost Angels, JNaturaL is freaky rhyme style, melodic song and challenging content. After her first independent release entitled "Escape From Babylon" she was brought to the Project Blowed Studios by Aceyalone himself. Since then JNaturaL has been rocking with the west coasts finest lady killers The (SIS)tem, releasing various mixtapes with her all female crew. Her latest, most notorious release is the Sex Lies and Sextape mixtape, with east coast counterpart Dj Ray Ray Raw, a philly bred native. This mash up of east and west style, along with some all star features from the Blowedian camp, including Abstract Rude, Aceyalone, Dumfoundead, Sahtyre, Rogue Venom and JaeRoze, was the propeller for the independently run 6 city European tour that went down in 2008. Her first international appearances in her career, JNaturaL was well recieved by heads in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Berlin, Paris and London. In every city the consensus was the same "She is THE NEXT..." Currently JNat is working on a series of projects, including, her upcoming album "GOD IS LOVE. LOVE IS ON HIATUS" , a revamped release of her never before distributed acoustic album "LA VIRGEN" (remixed by Emily Corpuz formerly of indie rock band Kidnapping the City), and a series of video episodes outlining the adventures of the last European tour and how we STAY INDEPENDENT!
