J'nay is a native west Londoner whose music is an eclectic mix of soul, delivering a fresh take on retro and new wave sounds, all wrapped up in electrifying live stage performances. A comparison can be drawn with some of the greats; Sam Cooke, Al Green, Prince etc
-------HISTORY------
Jnay has been performing over the last 10 years with many music organisers and bands throughout the UK and some of the world ( artists such as Basement Jaxx, Enrique Iglesias, Leann Rimes, Hugh Masekela,Jazz Jamaica, Bearfoot). Also writting with many song writers Renown and obscure alike, to date. after winning the MOBO unsung 2003 award with the self penned "soul glo" saw a brief stint with Island records. this experience was harder then expected but did not deter a young performer tryin to deliver the music to the people who want to hear it.

Jnay is currently doing a resident stint with the SEB collective between Soho Revue bar and Myplace Club lounge, Showing of the acoustic flavours, big band sets, and the occasional P.A.
Showing that you don't have always keep it live to make music credible and incredibly fun.
