Yea...... let's just say I don't read much besides music, so let's keep this section for jokes, quotes, and my rant on society at the bottom.

This is more of a blog type thing, but I'd rather put it here. It's something that's plagued me for far too long and I can't hold it in any longer: respect for yourself, and others. Everyone is "different," and we should accept and respect them. Society has molded us into what they want us to be and it's killing me. Everyone is so concerned with what others think about how they look, how they think, how they act, etc. I'm writing this to let some people think for themselves, rather than base their opinion on someone else's. So allow me to start off with the the most obvious, and apparently most important one: looks.
I'm so sick and tired of some people. The terms "ugly" and "hot" mean nothing. Nobody is "ugly," well, society's take on the term that is. Someone is truly ugly only if they show no personality, or values, respect, (blah blah blah). I understand the actual definition of the term is something along the lines of "very unattractive, or unpleasant to look at." Ok, so let's see. If I took that for what it truly means, then our sun is ugly. Most people can't stare at it... it's unpleasant to look at, am I right? "Fuck you sun, you're ugly!" Yea, doesn't quite work. It is what it is and you cannot change it or modify it. All you can do is put on sunglasses, but it's still there. Get over it. Let's start on the term "hot." Looky there. I can use the sun as an example here as well. Thanks to society, this word has taken place of the words "beautiful" or "pretty" or "gorgeous" etc. The actual term means something like "giving off heat" or "antonym of cold." So, you're telling me, someone like... Britney Spears (gross in my personal opinion, but somehow she's become an icon) gives off heat? Nah, we'll just call it a slang term. Pat yourself on the back, society. You've entered our dictionary as a slang term. Do I think I'm ugly? No. Do I think I'm hot (the slang term)? No. I am... me. I am myself. I will not change. Leave it at that and don't tell me I'm wrong. This rule also applies to something being worn. If you're about to just go to Wal*Mart, and you worry about your perfume/cologne so you smell good for people walking around, you're not being true to yourself. People should respect and accept you, for you. If you do it just for yourself, then by all means. If someone really cares how you smell, then they have problems. Same thing applies to clothing. I don't believe in "freaks", and I don't believe in a "norm." We are all different, so get over yourself. So seriously, does it REALLY matter what someone looks like?
Let's start thinking for ourselves. Oh wait. You would all rather get up at the ass crack of dawn to the tune of an annoying alarm clock, be to work by 7 and be judged all day by some punk who thinks he/she is better than you just because they know more about the company than you, and not get home until around 6, because society says that's what's expected of you if you want to be successful in life and be able to provide for your family? Uh, no. Take that mess away from me. I can be just as successful, and more, working straight from home getting up around noon if I wanted to. Call me "conforming to the non-conformists," and I'll tell you how it is. Oh wait, I just did. Maybe you are the ones conforming to the non-conformists. This can go either way, and I'm only here to prove that. Personally, I could care less, and I do. I respect what everyone does, but I'm just trying to shed some light on something different. Let's face it, nobody really is happy at their job. If they are, then I have nothing but respect for that, honestly and seriously. If you're not, then do something about it. Stop griping.
Here we go. My favorite topic - music. Let's start with metal, since that's what I listen to. Stereotypes.. yes!! For some reason, everyone thinks all metalheads are satanists. Where did this come from? Ok, then by that logic, it only makes sense that anyone who listens to country only has one tooth, wears a hole-filled, sweaty, dirty tank top, and picks lent out of their belly-button with one hand while holding a beer in the other. Not that I care, but that's not "normal" to society's standards. Same with pop. Let's face it, most popstars are either gay or bi (new subject later). So it only makes sense that anyone who listens to this, is gay or bi. Not that I care, but society does! Oh no! Better watch out! Now let me start on rap. I'll admit it, I tried it, and I did actually like it for awhile, but I noticed a pattern. Every single song either talks (no, literally, they talk, not sing) about booty, guns, drugs, money, or sex. Ok really? Is this all anyone wants to hear about? It's all the same shit to a different tune, and I'm pretty sure I heard it all 15 years ago. I'll admit, there are a few songs that are different, but I'd rather not waste my life sifting through the other stuff. This is really my personal opinion, yet I know some people agree. If you listen to it, that's fine, I respect that because that's your thing. Just do not EVER come up to me asking if I heard "the new Kanye West song." Another thing that metal has a bad reputation for is "nobody can understand it." Honestly? You can't hear a single word? Clean out your ears. I hear it clear as a bell without a single problem. Why is rap/hip hop music flooding the airwaves and TV commercial background music? Oh, that's right. The same reason today's TV sucks - the producers are trying to keep up with what's "popular." How could I miss that? I just said it in my TV section. Stupid me.
Another big topic that plagues the minds of some people - sexuality. There's so much to say on this, but I'm trying to keep it simple. Uh oh. Joe Schmoe over there is gay. Yea, I bet he is happy since he's not thinking about you. I really don't see what is so bad about being gay. Can someone please tell me, because I'd love to know. What is so gross about it? I'll be using two guys as an example throughout, because, for some reason, it's more acceptable for two females to be gay. It's their life and that's what they like. Just the same way you like the opposite gender. Ever think that maybe you being straight grosses THEM out? I'm only thinking in all fairness here. "We're society and we write the book on what's right and wrong." You're society and you're what's clouding everyone's judgement to think for themselves and be proud of who they are. Let me also make one thing clear. If you're a guy, and you enjoy pornography, I'm only guessing you enjoy seeing two females going at it. That's also being gay, and there's not a problem with that.... just because they're females? In my personal opinion, you should never be allowed to watch two females if you can't enjoy two guys as well. Am I right or wrong? Again, I'm only thinking in all fairness here. Unless you're just, let's say it together now, a hy-po-crite. Respect everyone for who they are, and not what they do. Brainwashed people.
Uh oh. Is he really gonna talk about religion? In a way, yes. It should not ever matter what religion someone is. Whether they're Christian, Satanist, Buddhist, Muslim, Taoist, Jewish, Wiccan, etc. and wtf-ever. Do you really care if someone's not your same religion? That automatically makes them a bad person because they don't believe the same as you? So what.. talk about something else. They probably have some other quality you'll fall in love with. Maybe it's easier for me because I'm non-religious, but I have respect for any and all religions, simply because.... I don't care. I just don't talk about religion.
Now, for one of the biggest problems I've seen in my life. I'm gonna dumb it down and keep it simple. I'm not pointing any fingers and I'm not saying any names, but friends are the worst. True friends will always be there. Allow me to explain. How often is it in your life, that you decide to make a change in yourself? Just something simple like, let's say quitting smoking pot. Is it society's custom for friends to start an argument over that? Is it necessary for them to ask, "Why?" Let's move on to something deeper, like a relationship. For guys this is called "cock block," tho for females, I've heard "snatch latch." These are the friends who can't accept the fact that you've decided to be with whoever, then go on to tell you all the reasons why NOT to be with that person, just because they HEARD from so-and-so that they blah blah blah. Then they choose to not talk to you because of that? Gimme a break. Seriously, it seems like only 2, sometimes 3 people in our life are the ones who stick by us through thick and thin. Personally, I've been stabbed in the back by all my "friends" in my life, just because of my creeds. I guess they forgot how much I was the only person there for them when nobody else would listen, and how many fire hoops I've jumped through, and tar pits I've been through, and bullets I've taken for them, just to keep them by my side. Oh well, music please!
In all honesty, I know I'm not right. I know I think different. I know these are all opinions. Do I apologize? XD Only for missing some big points. The point I was only trying to get across is... respect. Respect for others, and respect for yourself, i.e. being true to yourself. I have 100% respect for everyone, no matter what their creed. Even if they tell me I'm wrong, I could care less, you think different than I do. I'm not ashamed, I'm just saying things that others are scared to say because, what'd I just say - people are scared of what others think about them, so they don't say it. different in a good way.....lol....n thanks its gud to know some1 out der is willing to help :-)....i ws on a full ride scholorship at spc(nothing big but it paid for absolutly everything till it ws time for me to transfer) but then i got into it wit my teamates and some crazy rumor started bout how i tried to get one of the girls kicked off the team....well anyways this resulted to everyone going against me including those i thought were my best friends n it was basiclly 1 against 13 so coach just took me off the roster to avoid the drama i guess but that only cause more! lol anyways i had to finish my semester there and i was tortured the whole way thru....pple started finding bout wat happened and i just quickly went frm cool with everybody to being an outcast. NO1 would tlk to me....it did alot to me bc im a pple person and wen i dnt have pple around i lose it. which meant i eventually lost it n ws in the hospital for a week. ugh.
relationship wise i started dating kris jackson frm dixie prom king of 06 right after hs and we were together for yr n hlf then he went to the navy n we broke up n everything went dwn hill frm there. got into the wrong crowd n was naive n ws taken advantage of my freshman yr in college while i ws drunk, being cheated on right in front of my face n just many attempted relationships i wish would have worked but never did. ugh lol gosh i feel like i just gave yu my whole life story lol
