About me:
Well, it's 2007 and I'm finally going to enter this realm, I'm not sure which of my friends are on My Space, but as I'm not spending as much time teaching or in classes, I thought this would be a good space to post cool stuff and keep in touch with people with similar interests. I tend to try to follow debates on capitalism/anti-capitalism and relationship of economics to culture, and try to keep working on my dissertation with related themes. Though I don't have an "ism" to call my own, Debord's a comrade. I spend way too much time watching films and listening to music, and doing amateur criticism with my partner Joseph. I'm a third rate Greil Marcus to his... not sure something more like Timothy Leary if he were a music/film critic. I'm also involved with some reading groups on Council Communism and Gender/Capitalism. So, on my blog I'll try to post some of this information and mental detritus, and try to keep in touch with old and new friends.
