About me:

It's about time I told you people out there, that care, a little bit about myself. For those that don't already know, I'm English (Cheshire, like the cat), and I've lived in New Zealand for two an'a half years now, loving almost every minute! The first big thing I did when I arrived here was live at the foot of Mt Ruapehu (Turoa side), while running the Giant cafe up-top. What a wicked five months, snowboarding home from work every day. On days when the common people (that’s everyone but you) weren't allowed up because of 'Dangerous conditions' (wind or snow), I'd be up there making the most of the freshies, sometimes getting lost due to zero visibility. I got fired from that job for getting drunk on the mountain at a staff party and then not getting up for the bus the next morning.... damn jagers! I realised at that moment that I had to do something different. So, at twenty-seven years old, I went back to school. Not a decision taken lightly. I studied Marine Technology at the Mahurangi Technical Institute, up in Warkworth, where after a year of hard study I passed my level four Diploma with Merit. Half way through my year at school I had a run-in with the old bill.... speeding, I was late for school. This lead to looking for a job to pay off the fine they slapped me with. I found a job at Mesh in Takapuna, a lovely little bar that played good music and looked like it could be just that little bit seedy.... It ended up, not as seedy as I'd first hoped, far too classy, more PimPed than seedy. Now, a year an'a bit later, I'm the General manager of Mesh, loving my time there, meeting some wicked people and keeping the red lights glowing. Now, when I'm not at Mesh, you can find me; at the gym trying to loose my English belly, out in the Hauraki Gulf fishing, diving or just cruising on my (Dad's) boat, or pissin off the sunbathers rippin up the bays on my Jet ski, or just recovering in bed from my crazy busy lifestyle!
