The second part of the trilogy "The Empty Circle" by The Joy of Nature, entitled «Rastos de Sangue e fragmentos da Tradição», has been now released by Ahnstern and it is available at The Joy of Nature's store.

In this second part a lot more instruments were used and more musicians collaborated, like R. Coutinho, B. Ardo (Sangre Cavallum), Rui Almeida (Massa Última), Triarca, Mara Neves and M.J.

Not only a reaction against the modern world, but an alternative to this post-modern world.

* Twilight Requiem *

Night draws herself up tightly-
in a voracious slithering frenzy

Sister Twilight stares back wearily-
Silent and lovely
as she begins unhinging
this wanton skin to veil such a radiant atrocity
and disinter the pain trophies of lingering memory

Night sows her dark, wispy shadows of sorrows unknown
within our beautiful and beloved garden grove
And November will harvest only ghosts
from our once devoted and noble home

Twilight will atone
to the lonely and the alone:
Thine hearts now but a haunted sect
and vows sweetly bound in utter neglect.

And as the dance of light slowly fades,
hoarfrost awaits
to covet what remains:
The sentry of enduring ardor
and the alchemies of desolate shame.
