My husband, for believeing in me when I lose the courage in myself. My sweet Caillean for reminding me everyday to find a way to accomplish the changes I want to see in Delaware. Also to all the people who have a disability and keep on living life at their best. The things these people accomplish on a daily basis humble me and make me want to work harder. I start to cry over my dicculties and setbacks then I am quickly reminded how much 1 person can do if you just try and never give up on the things you believe in!

Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet other parents who have children on the autism spectrum. I am taking classes to serve my child better. I am taking the Partners in Policymaking course, a parenting class for helping to change your reaction to things so your children learn to change how they deal with things. Also I am taking a training class for teaching social skills for children on the autims spectrum. I am hoping to take more classes and apply what I learn to help my child and others in Delaware who care for someone who has autism. I am going to teach a class on teaching social skills to people with Autism hopefully next fall. I am hoping to be able to teach more of these the classes
