About me:
My name is

- and -
I'm a baby wanting to be held, but I fight hard and stand strong.
I live in a world where "cool" is another word for "fool".
"If he smoke, then she smoke, I gotta smoke too."
It's not a matter of appreciation but a matter of trying to find dignity in a state where it doesn't seem to exist at all.
I wear an iron mask towards society and keep it locked until someone legit learns to unravel my chains.
I am 18 years young, but far more mature than the average.
Maturity does not place myself above others, but allows myself to be created endlessly.
No, we do not only grow chronologically, but in separate dimensions, unevenly.
We can mature in one realm, but become childish in another.
The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present.
We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.
Who I'd like to meet:
Despite standing firm on my two feet, I still constantly long for someone to be my crutch, for two, has always been better than one.
I could care less if someone told me that relationships are complicated.
They shall always and constantly be, for a relationship are two individuals working together to become one.
No matter how harmonious the two become, they are still two individuals with unique personalities and constant differences, hence, the continuous arguments and hardship.
I may live the life of solitude, but even Juliet has once called out to her Romeo, "Wherefore art thou?"

and that's why religion is still around. 50% of why its around still is because of tradition, habit, and misinformation, the other 50% because of the fear of being shunned by friends, family, and even whole communities in certain places.
the thought of a supreme being used to comfort me too, until i started asking questions. i'd get into the details but we could save them for people watching =P its good that you believe in him because he comforts you. i'd say for 99% of christians, however, they believe because of fear: fear of death and fear of hell and eternal suffering, no matter how strongly they refuse to admit it. pascal's wager and the athiest's wager pretty much say it all.
lol well there's another one for you. XP but heyy thanks and ditto. =]

haha yeahh im taking philosophy and political theory, which is pretty much the philosophy of politics. hopefully my head doesn't explode from thinking too much =/
the way i see it though, life isn't so much of never ending problem. if you take away human intelligence, our sole purpose for living is to reproduce to keep up the survival of our species, which is what every animal does. but if you add the human mind and intelligence back into the equation, then things are different. we are not a hive minded species. we each have different goals and purposes that we set for ourselves, therefore i don't think there is a sole universal purpose for life in humans. however, i do think there is a one most important purpose for living and that is is creating meaning. its just the fact that everything can be viewed subjectively makes it seem so complicated.
we are driven to create meanings for ourselves, our sons and daughters, etc. we are driven to create meanings for creatures and inanimate objects by giving them definitions and names (symbolic interactionism.) we always ask questions about life and science because we want to know what the hell they mean.
even as children who can't even think for themselves, we are associating stoves with hot and ice cubes with cold, even without knowing the textbook definitions. it may seem a little disappointing when you compare it to a religious point of view of existing purely for God, but i think it makes a little more sense. that's just all my opinion, though.
now the reason for existence; that is the never-ending problem. but does existence really have to have a reason? maybe we are here for no reason and we and even the entire universe are just a random occurrence.
personally, i believe we've always existed, like a gigantic game of six degrees of kevin bacon, if you will.
wow i really got carried away on that one. sorr

im kinda glad because my summer routine's been getting a little repetitive. i've been trying to read a lot and i've realized that i want to learn as much as i possibly can about everything. i can honestly say my mindset from high school is totally different from right now in college. at the same time i feel like a 30 year old in a kid's body.
but yeah my friend still needs to upload one of our songs and ill send you that tomorrow probably.
meh im sorry about that. forced learning always makes everything seem like a chore, no?

seriously... lol ive done some reading on that
but yeah, this really isn't anything new, sadly. the government is pretty much screwing up those people's lives because they're a threat. and it sucks because a lot of people are going to art schools and stuff, and they never get to reach their full potential because the government misleads them into thinking they're making truly creative art, when really the government wants them to improve their skills at designing mainstream media and advertising. so it all comes back to money again really. the government doesn't world peace or a clean environment, they just want your moolah.
society has never been run by artists, well not long term at least. however, some (albeit very few) artists have a hand in changing its direction at certain points. i consider einstein an artist by the creative way he thought of things, same with plato, aristotle, darwin, etc. unfortunately, most artists don't ever get a chance to shine. van gogh didn't make money for shit during his lifetime and edgar allan poe died a penniless drunk in a gutter.
you just have to ask yourself: is all the suffering and rejection worth it?
who knows, one day maybe your art will be appreciated by many, or at the least your name may live on posthumously.
all i know is, i'm going to keep doing what i love doing and i'm trying my damned hardest not to let the (stupid ass-fucking) government slash gordon gecko wall street yuppie fucks bring me down.
see how i tried to add a little bit of optimism at the last second? this comment was getting a little too somber for my taste lol.
but actually im doing grrreat. making music, hanging out, and living life i guess. nothin really new except summers almost over =[[.
you?
