Influences
My musical influences are Stevie Wonder, Eva Cassidy, Bill Withers, Ray Charles and all the great soul perfomers and recently Delta Goodrem, Lucie Silvas, James Morrison.
I was born in Brighton and started writing lyrics from an early age. I have always had a passion for singing and songwriting and joined a band as soon as I was old enough! I am in a 6 piece cover band, which is great fun and I am also concentrating on getting my own original material out there for people to hear. I have been gigging in and around Sussex and recently London as a solo artist. Brighton has a fantastic music scene and I have been lucky enough to be able to perform regularly at some of the wonderful venues including Komedia Theatre and Joogleberry Playhouse to name a few. I have recently finished recording my first album. It was an emotional time when I heard the finished CD and I will be promoting it this year. It has been a long project and I am proud of the achievement. All the songs on the album mean a lot to me and I hope that when you listen to them, they will inspire you as much as they inspire me. Apart from my love of music, I have a love for life, happy & positive people, spirituality, animals, laughing till my stomach hurts, sitting under a star-lit sky on a warm summers evening and my pet Labrador, who is the most beautiful thing in my life.
