Hello there. My name is Jo Ann Gray. I am an Oakland, CA native, born June 3rd.
Quite simply, I'm a woman with the gift of gab. Sometimes I feel like a nut, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I feel like a complex being in a simple world and other times I fear it's the other way around.
I write to purge my mind of the thoughts that fill it, and I am fortunate enough to have an outlet that I call "JOETRY".
What is "JOETRY"?
"Joetry" is the term I use to describe the genre of my music, and is formed by combining my first name with the word "poetry".
"Joetry" is spoken word with an R&B twist, complete with hooks that highlight the themes of my ideas.
My target audience: Men, women, and couples who have experienced the highs and lows of love, and still believe in it.
"Joetry" is relationship music.
So, if you are a fan of soul and r&b music and you're looking for something original and entertaining, look no further. Turn up the volume and allow the music to penetrate your soul.
