So I've been doing some surfing after all this traveling and I decided to bone up on my world geography. I figured if I'm going to continue to be the worldly traveler annotating my favorite global escapes, I need to know some more about this earth of ours before I go on my next trip.

I was surfing around, doing the usual - playing with puzzle maps and other time wasters on the internet instead of actually learning stuff when I started getting to the usual very important and yet very boring stuff on global warming. My favorite is the Idiot's Guide To Global Warming - shouldn't you just open it up and out pops a hand held battery operated fan, with a note that says, "Duh!"

So anyway there I am surfing across the web - funny to think by the way that each click could take me on new global escapes - when I found this really wacky global factoid. Check it out -

I started my search for a vacation destination like I always do. I log onto global-escapes.net to see what type of accommodations they have in the place I want to go. I have wanted to visit Scotland since I was a little girl. Now, the golf courses are very appealing to me and my boyfriend, although I hear that many of them are rather exclusive. I got a wonderful resort in Perthshire, which is in the middle of the country, from global escapes. It was a beautiful place. They had an indoor pool, an on premises restaurant, steam room solarium and a snooker room. Snooker is a fun game, once you understand the rules. Alex, my boy friend, and I are in a pool league back home with some friends, so I figured we should broaden our horizons. We spent many of nights and evenings in the snooker room on our visit. There happened to be a very nice older gentleman and his wife here one night and the four of us would meet up for games. They were kind of our teachers. The resort from global escapes even offered discounts to some of the local golf courses, which suited us just fine, and other activities around the area.
Alex wanted to go to the Scotish Liqueur Centre. This is a family company in the area that produces Scotland’s largest range of malt whiskey liqueurs. Everything is hand made with the finest ingredients available. We had planned our trip around the Crieff Highland Games. These take place on August 20 and have been held in Perthshire since 1870. they have events like highland dancing, solo bag piping and bagpipe bands, tossing the caber, and a bunch of track events. This is relatively inexpensive and a good time. I would recommend that you add this to your itinerary if you are planning on going to Scotland in the summer time.
Our trip to Scotland was one of the best trips Alex and I had taken together. Being that we used global-escapes.net to get our room, we had more money to spend on our vacation and shopping. I don’t even think that we could have gotten a seven night stay, with all the amenities the resort had, in the states for what we got through Global Escapes. Not only was the country side beautiful and diverse with its green hills, rolling mountains, and marshy valleys, but the people were as friendly as could be. I would love to return to Scotland some time, but for now I am focused on planning our future global escapes.

I just scheduled a cruise on Norwegian from Global Escapes. It is going to be a seven night cruise to Bermuda. Alex won’t be able to get off of work, so it will be me and my best friend. An escapes for just the girls. This will be nice. I thought about including my sister on our vacation from global-escapes.net, but when I asked she said that it would be difficult with the kids and all.

So, I found this cruise on global-escapes.net. I was just looking to do some brain storming, and I saw it. The price was right, it always is on global escapes, it leaves from New York, which is good for my girl friend and I. We live here, so that makes transportation easy. I’ll just have Alex drop us off and pick us up. One of the things that I love about global escapes is the fact that there is opportunity for you to plan a trip without any pressure from a travel agent to book now. That and the fact that I can log onto global-escapes.net from the comfort of my own house. I feel like my own travel agent, and who better to plan my dream vacation than me. I cannot wait until October rolls around. This cruise will be one of the best escapes from the cold that I have planned in a while.

I am getting my girlfriend turned on to global-escapes.net. She had never heard of it before I had mentioned it to her. There aren't all that many people that I know who are familiar with global-escapes.net. It is a shame because global-escapes.net is a wonderful tool to use in planning your vacations. I have had excellent experiences everywhere i have gone with global-escapes.net. I have even started arranging my flights with global-escapes.net. It is great because once you book your room, you don't have to search for flights. They are right there for you on global-escapes.net. It is great.

When I went to Minnesota with Global-escapes.net, I Started thinking about things. Have you ever had one of those days where the day just drags on and on? That’s exactly how I feel today. And top it off there isn’t one single thing to look forward too when this day ends. It’s not like I’m just sitting here counting the seconds, so I can go do or see something interesting. I’ll just be going home for the same old stuff I normally do and have nothing exciting happen.
It’s not like I have a complaint about my life. I wish I could go home and have dinner cooked and all the normal chores done. That way I wouldn’t have to do a thing, but to enjoy the rest of my day. Trust me that’s not going to happen. I know for a fact dinner won’t be done, because first of all I forgot to take something out to be even cooked. Now, I’m going to get complaints as to what we’re even going to have for dinner. I’m satisfied with a sandwich and be done with it, but not everyone is satisfied as easily.
There just enough time in the day, much less think about what’s going to happen for tomorrow. There might be some people that think that way, but I’m not one of them. I handle one day at a time and hope for a better or just as good day tomorrow. I don’t think that’s asking for much. I would love to get through the day without whining or having to take care of other individual’s issues. My job gives me enough of that kind of thing and I surely don’t need it when I get home.

We went to Las Vegas last summer. Global Escapes gave us a great deal which saved us really tons of money. There are bunch of hotels with unique features. We really couldn’t go to all the hotel as we originally wanted. Since we are not really big gambler, we focused on relaxing and eating. One of the hotel’s breakfast was amazing. They had a lobster omelet and smoke salmon from the morning. I really love smoke salmon. I ate so much I couldn’t believe great all you can eat café was only $20. We also went to walking to see what’s going on at the night time. One of the Japanese restaurant they had was the worst. They charge huge money and gave us one quarter of amount of the food compared to Minnesota. I almost told an waitress some complaint; however, I decided not do it. Because having argument at vacation is not a good idea. We were there to enjoy what they have. I guess money we saved by dealing with Global Escapes really make me think that even I am ripped off by restaurant, I am still saving some money by their deal. Man, some of business in Las Vegas are scams. We all need to watch out. I wish I could remember the name of the Japanese restaurant we went to. I need to spread words to let people know about that. That way other people won't be ripped off by them.

Hi we live in Minnesota. We used Global Escapes to go to vacation. We had the best time when we went to Sarasota, Florida this weekend. It was a long time friend of my husbands that he hadn’t seen since he had gotten married. We first met at the restaurant of his place of work. He’s a sushi chef and makes the best sushi you’ve ever had. He was the most personable individual right from the get go. His first words to me was we’re going to get buck wild tonight. My husband had informed him that I drink and he made sure that’s exactly what we did after he got of work. We all headed out to his local hangout and had more food and plenty to drink. I held my own and didn’t feel any pain when we were leaving. The following day after sleeping in late to wear off some of the night before we had a late breakfast at a French pastry shop. He knew all the excellent places to eat and made sure we experienced the best they had to offer. Later that night he took us to the beach for a beautiful sunset. He made sure of the times and everything, so we wouldn’t miss anything. We then came home for an excellent home cooked meal that we tried to duplicate at home when we had the necessary equipment to do so. His girlfriend should feel very lucky to found such a guy like that, because they don’t make guys like that to often. He makes sure everyone is having a good time and experiences things you’ve never done before. He pays attention to the details. The whole weekend was a goodtime that goes down in the books that I’ll never forget. There are bunch of scams out there. However, Global Escapes have never disappointed me.

We were too hot in San Antonio, Texas. We needed a vacation. We used Global Escapes for our last vacation. This company is introduced by my friends. He told me that he never heard any complaint or scams deals from this company. So ,we went for our summer vacation to see my sister in Illinois. After a couple of days we decided to go to Chicago for the weekend. Both of our husbands haven’t been there, but it would be the second time for my sister and me. We rented a car and made it a road trip. We left early in the morning and got to the hotel by noon. Checked in, got some lunch and headed to downtown Chicago. It’s a pretty big city and my brother-in-law was nervous about driving in all the traffic. As we were coming up on the city you could see the Sears Tower in the distance with the very top of it in the clouds. That would be our first destination. After finally finding a parking space we headed on foot to the Tower. The elevator ride took forever to get to the top. It’s the tallest building I’ve ever been in. We spent a good hour looking around and taking in all the sites from every angle. After that we walked around downtown and took in the sites there. My husband wanted to experience what Chicago had to offer in the way of Jazz. We found a local restaurant that he found out about and had dinner there. Before we knew it, it was the second day and we were ready for more walking. We visited the famous water fountain of Buckingham. It was huge and the landscaping around it was beautiful. Then it was off to walk along the water front. You go one way and it was a sea aquarium and the other direction was the Navy Pier. After spending a good four hours in the aquarium it was off to Pier. We had a blast taking pictures next to different sculptures and taking in all the gift shops and music that was offered. It ended the long day with memories that will last a lifetime.

How can you be a secretary if you don’t have organizational skills. In my opinion that is what a secretary is all about, keeping a department organized and flowing like a well oiled machine. Trust me I should know, because I’m really good at organizing stuff. I’ve never had the title of being a secretary, but I’ve handled those sort of duties for years. I personally don’t see any glory in being a secretary. They are the most unappreciated individuals that can be employed. I’ve know how they can be taken for granted first hand. I was so thankful when our department actually hired a secretary. The only problem is she’s no secretary. She’s highly unorganized and would rather do someone else’s job instead of her own. I use to have everything organized in our department and you could find anything you wanted, but not now. I’m not saying the new secretary should’ve kept information in the same way I had done it, but at least you could find something when you went to look for it. Right now you have to wait for her, because she doesn’t keep up with filing or she just piles stuff up for whatever reason. It’s terrible and frustrating all at once. In the past I’ve tried to help her, because I just can’t stand how it is. That only proved to be a mistake, because now she thinks I work for her sometimes. I’ve learned to be very careful as to what I help her with. She sometime leaves me things to do and then have the gull to say that she done some of it FOR ME. No, I believe this is your job, not mine. Oh well, I’ll stop making complaint about it anymore. I guess I need contact Global-escapes.net to get out of San Antonio. I had enough of Texas for now…

When I went to San Antonio Texas with Global Escapes trip, I saw tons of scare movies. Scary movies just aren’t scary anymore. I feel ripped off every time I see one now. The previews look excellent and your left with, what the heck is so scary about that. Sometimes you can say that just watching the previews. The ideas that they come up with for these movies are so lame, that you just know they’re going to be flop before they even get to be shown. I should become a movie critic. I believe I would be good at that. What could be better as a job, watch movies all day long. If it paid well, I’d do it. I guess the first problem is there’s no storylines left to write a scary movie. They’ve all been written and a remake doesn’t scare people. I haven’t truly been scared since the E. Now, that’s a movie that scared the crap out of me when I was little. Till this day, I can’t watch it. I was traumatized by that movie for months. To me that seemed like that could really happen to someone. For that movie to be as old as it is, I think it was way ahead of it’s time. I think it could go head to head with any movie of today and kick it’s butt. I have no doubt about that. They just don’t make them like that anymore. Today, when I watch a movie that’s suppose to be scary, I don’t even think about it an hour after I’ve watched it. I guess I should stop my complaint!!

The names celebrities give their children now a days. What are they thinking? Some are naming them after fruit and others after the bible. I feel so sorry for the kids when they grow up and start going to school. It is like their whole life is a big scam!! Of course they have names that you’ll never forget, but is that what you want when your kids are going to be in the public eye as it is. As we all know kids of celebrities don’t fair well in the public eye sometimes. They get into drink and drugs at a very early age, because of who they are. These parents certainly don’t make it easy for them in my opinion. The rate they have kids is pretty amazing too. They have one and then all of a sudden you hear that another baby is in the oven. It’s not like these woman are old or anything, they just can keep their underwear on. What really burns me is that usually these mothers of these kids don’t even take care of them themselves. They have a nanny and pretty much do nothing. And some of them when you see them out and about, you can tell immediately, that they don’t have a clue about raising a child. You’re hear about some of their ER encounters for the most pathetic reasons and what all comes down too is them not knowing anything about childrearing. There’s this on celeb that can barely take care of herself and pretty much has to cater to her loser husband and she’s popped out two kids so far. I’m just glad she didn’t have any girls to pass on her stupidity. I guess I need a good vacation with Global Escapes.
