Hey Reagan! I don't know if you've followed my exploits on the forums at all and I just saw you here on MySpace and thought I forgot to tell you, but I BLEW up my truck. :) I'm back with a stock engine from a 2004 but still have your intake and a 5 in exhaust. Other than that, well, I'm stock. :(
So last night I was finally gonna see the payoff for the bigger Turbo and the Water/Meth. I launched with 10 lbs boost in 4wd, hit the water/meth at 60', lit the NOS shortly after and have NEVER felt anything pull like my truck was pulling. About 1/2 way down the 1/4mile she started making a whining noise, then about 2/3 track, she lost oil pressure. Didn't lose any oil anywhere, just pressure. Still coasted in with a 14.6 run though. Better yet, still beat the Duraturd running next to me too!
So, my guesses are the LPOP Gears or the STC fitting. She's currently sitting outside the track fence waiting for the tow truck to pick her up this morning. Monday my buddy is going to start stripping the front so we can get to the LPOP gears first.
yo whats up this is matt hill i just bought a intake from you. i havent been able to really test it out, due to the fact that my tranny just took a crap, so when i get it in i'll let you know, but it looks great, and fits great. i did have to pull my intercooler out re-route my battery cable wire to reach.
