I have been blessed to be raised in a Christian home with two loving parents.
My daddy is one of my biggest fans. I became hooked on music because of him. His support and love has meant everything to me, and I can't thank him enough. I'm so proud to work with him, whether he is singing some harmony in a song with me at a concert, accompanying me on the guitar, or just being there with me showing his support. My heart is definitly in Christian Country music because of him.
Music, in general, is such a great way to share God with people.
As an artist, I have the choice to sing songs that are "catchy" and "fun," but it's not quite that simple for me. I believe the message makes the song, which is why I feel so strongly about the songs I sing.
I haven't been blessed with the talent for writing songs, but I hope to be, and I believe that if it will happen, it will happen in God's time.
It was nice meeting you too! I listened to your song on your dad's CD. You are really good. Keep using your gift to further God's kingdom. And don't forget me when you make it big...I got first dibs on the stories to come :)!
