Just saw Children of Men and thought it was terrific. Really disappointed by the great Chen Kaige'sThe Promise. Eagerly looking forward to the new live action version of Osamu Tezuka's Dororo!
Artist by trade, artist by nature. I'm originally from Taiwan, an island of about 40 million off the coast of Mainland China, and have been living in the U.S. for over a decade. Fortunately, I have been able to make a living in the comic book industry, illustrating covers, some occasional interiors, and the odd video game and trading card job thrown into the mix to keep things lively.
Who I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet my favorite artists and writers to see how they work, to discover and understand their ideas and motivations for doing what they do and how they do it. Osamu Tezuka, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, Hitoshi Iwaaki, Nicolas de Crécy, Kent Williams and Dai Dun-bang are but a few off the top of my head. I've had the good fortune to meet many already. These are some that I haven't and some that I never will.
I saw your recent additions! WOW they kick ass!! I think im gonna have to go get em.(when i get some money) They're gonna be my first comics in awhile. Keep up the Great work!! I love Firefly BTW Tell Joss he kicks A$$!!
