    I love everything and listen to it all. My absolute favorite singer is Sony Holland. I enjoy rock, pop, jazz,latin, new age, rap and yes even disco. My all time favorite bands are Santana, Malo, Sapo, Azteca, El Chicano and Tower Of Power. One of my favorite songs is Suavecito by Malo. I also enjoy Greek music and love traditional Chinese music.     Anything that can make me laugh, cry, learn something or shake my head in wonderment. I have varied tastes in movies. Some of my top picks are My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, LA Confidential, March of the Penguins, A Star Is Born, Final Analysis, Unfaithful, Memoirs of a Geisha, Tristan and Isolde and pretty much any period pieces. A few of my favorite actors/actresses Nicolas Cage, Richard Gere, Kim Basinger and Nicole Kidman.

    All My Children, Check Please Bay Area, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, CSI New York, Cold Case, Shark, 48 hours Mystery,Without A Trace and Criminal Minds. The Grammy Awards is an event for me each year.

    Jo's Eternal Gift

    Sadguru Shivmuni
    the Indian spiritual guru,
    saint and teacher

    a divine boon appeared
    benevolent and kind friend, Jo
    who mada a web page
    of The Eternity and now
    the saint's holy photo,
    message and philosophy
    of spiritual wisdom
    is reaching beyond the shores
    of India and people
    can now savor the juice
    of true spirituality.
    Thank you Jo for your
    benevolence and I pray
    the Almighty God to bless
    you with good health
    and strength to do such noble
    deeds for the welfare
    of mankind.
    Although Jo has never
    visited India,but Shivmuni's disciples
    from all parts of India
    want to see her,praise her
    invite her to India because she has
    helped spreading the holy
    and divine wisdom of
    Sadguruji.
    This time I have decided
    to meet her close friend
    Poetess Carmen Henessy 
    in Mumbai on her
    arrival in India
    in coming November 17
    and shall get the new issue
    of The Eternity released
     by her there.
     No doubt Carmen
    has been a good friend
    of mine too.
    India -  the land of Buddha and Gandhi,
    the land of saints and sages
    has now better spiritual relation
    with America as Obama
    has celebrated Diwali the Indian
    festival in White House
    and divine  angel like Jo
    to enhance Indian spirituality
    in America.

    Walk-It-Out Fundraisers has been selected as one of three finalists for the Myspace Impact Awards!

    Pens For Peace and Walk-It-Out Fundraisers founders Timothy Pina and Danielle Pierre will be walking from San Francisco to San Diego (approx 530 mi) beginning 9/26 to raise funds and awareness for victims of abuse and homelessness.             Never be depressed when in hard time.You have still  the ability to write for  living,though not so enough,but should tolerate.When
    in hard time.we face it and learn.right?The most important thing now is keep a good health,peaceful mood and wait for sunshine again after the cruel storm.So many places in the world are  also undergoing economic recession.Don't give up your writing before you get a constant job!Take care!

    Hi,Jo,
           I know that it is really a hard time in your state.I am quite surprised that why the economic policy adopted by US government still cannot work .Unemployment is still rising.Maybe it needs a more practical policy and action to rescue the decling economy which  is  caused by such irresponsibe and greedy some large  investment banks' leaders who, I think, should
    be deprived of their properties to relieve the pending expenditure of    irrespective state government and to compensate  for the loss of their minor investors.I am so furious in this case.It is  so lucky you can earn  a living now by writing.Okay ,good luck for your job hunting!Take care!
