The band, The tracks, The Album

This new album is a collection of my life experiences. Ranging from bad times; being bullied at school, and witnessing domestic abuse, to the sheer bliss of falling head over heels in love, and the subsequent addiction that a relationship can often be. Writing these songs has been a bit like giving birth... they are my babies, and I am really proud of them, though some times they can be a pain and a worry too...


None of this would be happening were it not for my writing partner Dan Smith, and his guitar; it's been a fun year writing and gigging together. ...and my awesome band who are;

I am so thankful to Steve Smith (rwav.co.uk) for letting us use his live room to jam in, and for recording us... it's been wonderful. And just the start of the journey.

    I'm currently writing and recording my new album. Her time working as a session singer for hire has left her with a pitch-perfect voice that is so rare in this day and age. One of the things that Jodie strives for is honesty and authenticity in her writing… which is so refreshing. Jodie has been singing since she was 9years old, when she began her training in classical singing, and performing as soloist for The Highcliff Girls Choir; touring the country and performing in such venues as The Royal Albert Hall and The Barbican. Jodie then went on the study Rock and Pop performance, and in 2001 she graduated with distinction in Vocals & Live Performance from and acclaimed music academy... Jodie then went on to work extensively as a session singer during which time she worked with many artists including: Danni Minogue, Beverly Knight, Ace (-Skunk Anansi) and French super star- Cerrone, to name a few. .. .. Jodie has written tracks and recorded with with such producers and writers as Mark Hill (-producer and co-writer of Craig David’s hit album “Born To Do It”); ‘Ace’ (Skunk Anansie guitarist, and rock music producer), and Eliot Kennedy (Shania Twain, Take That)

In 2003 Jodie had a NUMBER 1 HIT in Italy with her song “Its All about You!” (Belmond Rulez 2.0 remixes by Bob Sinclair) Dr Kucho feat. Jodie. Jodie performed her hit live at the MTV Music Awards, Milan, Followed by a Live PA Club tour. Jodie’s music video was shown on MTV across Europe.

In 2006 Jodie performed her track “Sunrise” at Live 8! (Palace of Versaille, Paris) to a crowd of 100,000 people. -Watch the DVD now on this site! Jodie then stayed on to work as a backing singer for French super star Marc Cerrone (Buy the single of 'Sunrise' Cerrone on i-Tunes).
