    jodii b. basik was born as shane a. wright in baytown, tx right outside of houston. grew up on the southeast side (i-45 south) of houston. he went to clear brook high school then transferred to baytown sterling where jodii began his interest in "recording" music. in 2004 jodii joined a local rap group in baytown called "2cold click". in 2006 he dropped his first mixtape entitled "like it or not" while joining basik aRt in 2005, when 2008 came around him & jawz ( @hollywoodsean ) started basik aRt music (BSK music). they've dropped 2 mixtapes which are "boarding pass" & "theGIFT". jodii b. is currently working on his own project as well as "legacy of a legend: dedication to jonathan "shootamac" johnson which is being hosted by his brother onehunnidt & he is working on his up & coming mixtape titled "#HIGHtvites".
