I've been golfing again – even broke 100 after my first month out. I've also gotten back on my road bike and am pretty happy about that. I also like swimming, sculling, walking at Ladybird Lake, taking road trips, and leisurely reading the Sunday paper. I'd like to see more live performances, music or otherwise. (Still hoping to make it to WurstFest someday, since I'm half German.) I ended up at a poetry slam by accident once and it was pretty cool. I've got a list of "100 Things to Do in Austin" and I hope to work my way through it. I also would like to travel now that I have a passport.

Dang, I'm going to miss my usual Thursday night cry during ER! I also like The Office, Scrubs, Conan, Letterman, CNN Headline News, PGA Tour, LPGA, the Olympics, and the SuperBowl, for the ads. Best show ever – Worlds Apart on National Geographic...wish it was on DVD. Also, let me just say we need more women like SuperNanny in the world. One trip to Walmart and you know it's true!

My parents, who sacrificed so much for me while I was growing up, and my children – I'm so thankful for them! My oldest son Jordan is a gifted artist and filmmaker who won a Gold Remi award for a film at Worldfest Houston in May 2007, and my youngest, Justin (far right), is a fantastic golfer who played the Pro/Jr. at the FedX Kinkos Champions Tour tournament in May 2007 with Mark Lye of the Golf Channel. I love having two kids who are so very different from one another and more importantly, who are also good people.

I have two terrific sons, Jordan and Justin – Jory just started college and is a very talented artist and filmmaker. Here he is (white shirt) with his friends and younger brother Justin (red/blk shirt). I love 'em! :-)
If you still haven't seen this, you need to check out the last lecture of Dr. Randy Pausch called "Achieving Your Childhood Dreams." Try to watch the entire thing...he died of pancreatic cancer in July 2008 but talked about how to live one's life and to not give up on your dreams. It's very moving and inspirational...should be required viewing on how to live!

You are sociable, outgoing, energetic, and lively. You prefer to be around people much of the time. You are generally calm and composed, reacting moderately well to situations that most people would describe as stressful. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. You have some concern with others' needs, and are generally pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You are reasonably reliable, organized, and self-controlled.
I used to do a lot of photography and am thinking about getting back into it and shooting some stock photos or something. I worked for a newspaper as a photojournalist at one time and really enjoyed it. Here are some pics from my portfolio (mostly old, but some new). Can't believe how much the photo industry has changed since then...
Who I'd like to meet: Students, former classmates, friends...and Alex Bogusky of Crispin Porter Bogusky, the most talented creative in advertising today. Here's a pic of former student Albert Nance with Alex at CP+B in Miami.
Steve Jobs of Apple, so I could tell him how his products have changed and shaped my life. Hope he gets well soon! Bob Harper and Chef Rocco, who help me get into better shape and cook healthier food.

Hey Jody! Ugh, sorry...I suck at writing back. Anyways, If it makes you feel any better I never made it to Wurstfest either. I was pretty bummed about it too! Owell, Im looking forward to the holidays and some time off! We really really do need to meet up though!
Hey, Jody! I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to call yet. I just got back this evening from business travel - went to Dothan, AL for a meeting w/ franchisees. I'm so tired! Glad tomorrow's Friday... would be even better if it was Saturday! How are you? This is a great song by the way, and I love KT Tunstall. I met her during SXSW before she hit it big! :) Job and Windy City are great so far. I'll give you a call later so we can catch up! Hope you're doing well!
