"Standing on stage, Joe Bludge looked somehow thinner than he was. Through his endearing scowl he spat out meandering, storytelling lyrics, which sustained the songs through otherwise less than captivating guitar work. In an old but dapper suit, Bludge’s rollicking style prepared the room for the theatrics of the night, and moved a few to try out a jig or two."
- Faster/Louder.
If you would like to see me appear thinner than I am, please check The Painkillers gig listing. I put them all on there so I don't double-book. Many thanks!
Cheers mate - We will be alot more on to it when we release our next set of tunes, but your right we should get some more ep's printed and hit the record stores - Keep youe eye out for the limited edition Bonehouse Teaspoon Set, even ya gran will want em for her mantle, mine did.
Yeah, the Devil and Abbe May album turned out quite good. 95% live as well, vocals included so I think I've got that sorted now!! The solo stuff sounds great mate, did you do that with Max?
beats going to war. i was readin bout John Curtin pacing the verandah boards of his Cottesloe home, whenst ruminating upon the war, Australia under his govern. Now Colin Barnett - member for Cottesloe, wants to get rid of the house, whitewashing in mind. Those Liberals are funny out that way.
Fuckin Hussey, just got out in the 3rd over. The man's out of form, but we cant kick him when he's down. He's a winner, that boy. Killer set at the Fly last night bro, loved it. Just on a personal level, Bon Iver performed one of the best sets i've ever seen by anyone, like, ever. Really blew me away, great band too. Catch ya at the Cave mans big show. Your gonna kill em.
Thank you! England is nice. I am working some nothing job in an office and don't really do a lot else besides but I really do love Brighton and am enjoying the autumn. I am reading a lot though not really doing anything musical. Sean is in Portugal making a small fortune and living a life of ease and luxury on the beach playing covers in a bar.
Take care of yourself buddy and hopefully see you next year sometime. Hope that Perth is treating you well.
