"Bending the g up in pitch behind the nut" to create the sharp sound and you do the "detune" to make it flat...very interesting. With the flute, we do lots of different scales and change slightly with ambersure to create various tunes and it's mood. The detail counts!
Hi Joe, Thanks for playing the other night! What do you call what you did with your guitar? I was watching carefully and I noticed that you were playing with a tuner on either E or A string WHILE you were playing for the sound effect! It was really cool.
