About me:

My name is Joseph or Joe or Joey, I really dont care. I live in Michigan close to Toledo. I'm a sophomore at UT. I'm an Art Major with a concentration in New Media. After I'm done with that I plan to go to Bowling Green to get my Masters in Graphic Design and Computer Animation, and my ultimate goal in life is to work for Pixar one day while writing comic books on the side. So as you can already imagine i like art and animation. Always have, always will. I have posted some pics of my artwork on myspace but if you wanna see more just go to the site listed in the caption of those pics. I also love music. My favorite genre is metal because it's a very dark very strong type of music, though i am more of a fan of the older metal than the new. Metal is getting to the point where every new band sounds exactly like the last band and it's starting to piss me off. My favorite classic metal band is Black Sabbath because their guitarist, Tony Iommi created the first heavy metal riffs, thus giving birth to the genre. My favorite newer band is God Forbid because they break the barriers of what metal is supposed to sound and feel like and they're not afraid to do new things. I've had the pleasure of meeting the members of God Forbid and they are some of the coolest people on the planet. I always had this fear that some of my heroes were assholes in real life but God Forbid wasn't like that at all. I play guitar, i used to be in a band but we broke up cause nothing was getting done so we decided to stop kidding ourselves and just let it die. I dont plan on joining a band any time soon for two reasons; one is school, the other is I still think i have a lot to learn before i'm even qualified to be in a band.
