JOE BURNHAM: Joe Burnham has been working closely with his director brother for nearly 30 years. They first combined their creative talents when they formed the rock band Supernaut and success followed with a platinum selling album that included the singles I Like it Both Ways and Too Hot to Touch.
Having written all the original music for Chris’s short films, it was a natural progression for Joe to write the music for Chris’s first feature ALMOST.
“After working together for so long we each have a pretty good idea of what the other one wants. We always have loads of laughs… I think we both have a similar screwed up sense of humour”.
As a composer, variety in the music styles ensured Joe was continually inventive. “What was really interesting for me about doing the music to ALMOST was the opportunity to write all the individual songs within the film as well as the soundtrack.” As well as composing all the music to Almost, Joe has finally completed his first solo album titled 'Dust", and has also just finished touring around Australia with Supernaut in the Countdown Spectacular 2 concert.
Joe's first solo album "Dust" is available for purchase through email.
