collecting 78's,steak, baby powder, electric bills, pool water, Damn dump truck across the street that wakes me up every damn morning! I tell you it's a conspiracy. They're plotting against me! Quarter pounders, no CHEESE, extra pickles, extra onion, Coke no ice. God knows I'm not paying to have them fill that damn cup up with ice and two inches of coke. Barbara Fritchie Restaurant. I like to stomp on Japanese Beetles. I'm trying to solve a problem I'm having with my garbage. See no one will come out to my house to pick up my trash. The county says they will do it but hell, I'm not paying those damn people another cent. So I'm trying to work a deal to find someone who will haul it all away.
Oh did I mention I have a daughter? Yeah, Susannah. She's has three girls. The oldest is turning into one of those damn rock music drug heads. Alls she does is dress in black and listen to that damn BOOM BOOM BOOM BANG BANG BANG!

I have too many to list here. Go to my website www.vintage78.com
Hakkımda: I'm an Old Bastard! I collect vintage 78's from the thirties. I don't like anything made after the the thirties.
Rap music is pure garbage
Now don’t classify that stuff as music, good Lord. You run into a teenager, 16 or 17, ask them what noise is. “I don’t know.” How could they know ‘cause that’s all they hear. All you gotta do is listen. It’s a shame that all that’s great in this country is gone.
Rock music is garbage – Straight from hell.
Look at the people who do it. Idiots, they’re like animals. 99% of ‘em’s drug heads.
The Beatles are crap
You ought to step on them. That’s what you do with beetles. It’s just a sign of the times, a bunch of weirdos banging crap. It’s too bad their plane made it over here. If one had to crash that should have been the one. That would have helped our music situation for years.
Elvis Presley – Couldn’t stand him
Stupid looking thing.
I’m just tellin’ it like it is
All you gotta have is a pair of ears and something in between that resembles a brain. I really believe that anybody who listens to that hard rock stuff has to be on drugs, ‘cause a person with a normal brain couldn’t listen to it.

your collection puts all of ours to shame! I wanted to tell you that before I saw the Desperate man blues doc, I was always very timid about washing records.
using a soft sponge, using special record solution for laminated pressings.
seeing the record washing section on the special features almost gave me a heart attack.... I don't know if they boosted the scrubbing sound way up in the editing lab or what but... I figured if the shoe brush method is safe enough to wash "Original Stack O' Lee Blues", then it's safe enough for my stuff too.
now I get right in there and scrub those grooves... and what a difference it makes.
thanks Joe! I found this copy in a barn in Washington

Hi Joe: First let say thanks for the friendship, it means a lot. The music that I heard as a kid growing up in the cotton patch and at church is something I will always remember, hell I couldn’t forget it if I tried. I saw Ghosts of Mississippi movie last night, I had not seen it before. I say this because the levee roads and the locations in the movie were just as I remember them. It seems like yesterday that I was walking the dirt and gravel roads by the Mississippi River. I say this because I thought of you as well. You must have spent a many a day wondering around from house to house looking for records. The interview part that was done in Evers brothers radio room sent chills down my back. Robert Johnson playing Crossroads in the back ground,”I wouldn’t sell my soul for No guitar lesson” can’t you just see it. I thought of you all through the movie, but because of the music and how it was made. Thank you so much for being the friend of the Delta Blues Mr. Bussard. Henry
I saw 'Desperate Man Blues' aired in the U.K. on Friday night and had to find you on here. I watched the entire programme with a smile on my face. Your enthusiasm and love for music was such an inspiration. I've collected records myself since about the age of 7, although I've moved onto CDs too now for my sins! I'm honored to be one of your MySpace friends.
Joe I am watching a programme on you on BBC 4 as I type. You are so infectious man that makes the music attractive to the curious. Nice to see Paul Geremia again. Take care, Billy.
