It all started improvising songs in my basement. I was just singing and lyricizing while my best friend played the guitar. After a while I picked up guitar and added a new element to the songwriting that I had been pursuing in the years prior. I'd like to think that I have an eclectic taste in music. I'm not trying to fit into any genre and I'm not trying to make my own, I'm just being me and doing what I do. There are two very good reasons that I got into this music-making thing, and their names are Matt Marcoccia and Fred Chammas; my best friend and my older brother. I'm convinced that without them, none of this would have been possible. This all started as a hobby, I love writing songs, but I also love the rush I get from playing shows. Music's fun to make and play but sharing it with other people besides yourself brings it to a whole new level and I'd like to keep on doing that. I just finished my first EP, nothing too crazy, just a few tracks to really show my stuff as a songwriter. It was released in July 2008. I'm in way over my head, but I am loving every minute of it. The reason I'm pursuing this at the level I am now is my best friend and manager Mansoor Khan, someone who has had nothing but faith in me over the last few months and it's part of the reason that I'm at where I am now...and I plan on staying here...at least for a little while.
Hey Stud, thanks for making that fb event page last night. I'm hoping you're still asleep enjoying your slumber (doesn't that remind you of the cave of wonders in Aladdin?). Guess what time I woke up this morning...7:30! yayyy sleep deprivation! Just kidding, sleep is such a waste of time anyway. lol. I wish we humans had a recharge button - think of how much more we could accomplish in one day?! But enough of that...this is your my space, er, your space, your myspace? I believe the latter sounds equally ridiculous compared to the other two, but that's ok since I'm ridiculously happy with you. RHYMED! ohhhh yeaaaaah.

hey bud. sorry for the absence. i blame life. yea so my reading week is well.. this week! and like i said before.. im not gonna be free till sunday lol. and even then i'll probably be chillin out before school.. when is ur next "monthly shindig" i look forward to the customary e-mail :) my manager told me last night that most likely she's gonna stop the overnight shit with me coz we hired new crew for them. sooo yea. otherwise life is cool. a little discontent but when is that never the case, right? so i'll catch you on the flipside. peace.

hey bud, umm bad news, im working overnight next weekend. problem: the manager that does the schedules is the one working ovenright too. soo shes not gonna wanna let me switch with anyone else. so, she scheduled me to work it, and she's working those nights as well. so i wont be able to make it. if i had my own ride, i would definitely fuck my overnight nap and come and just drive to work after. such is not the case. therefore i regret to inform you, that hopefully next shindig i'll be able to make it. my apologies. oh and i'll probably just tell u all this next time i see u. u know how i dont like talking to away people or leaving msn messages coz they "never get it".
