THE MAN WITH THE MOST---------
Most people in this day and age think, "More toys equals more fun and a better life." But is this true? A wise man once said, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?" Whether your life resembles the guy on the cover of Forbes Magazine or you have 2 pennies to your name, have you considered the state of your soul? Whether you have or haven't, here's a test to see how your soul is doing.
Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything? Or have you ever used God's name in vain? If so, then by your own admission, you're a lying thief and a blasphemer. On top of that, you've sinned against God by breaking His Law, known as the 10 Commandments. The Bible says, "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." When you die, you will stand before God and be expected to give an account of your life, including every thought, word and deed. How will you do on that day? If you're honest, you know you'll be guilty of breaking His Law and sinning against Him. And as a result of your sin, you will spend eternity in hell. Although this is tragic, there's good news! The Bible says, "God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." After Jesus Christ--God in the flesh--was crucified for the sins of the ungodly, He rose from the grave on the third day defeating death. If you will repent (turn from your sins) and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, He will forgive your sins and grant you the free gift of everlasting life. Isn't that amazing? Don't wait another day! Please read Mark 1:15, John 10:9 and John 14:6.
