A healthy blend of country, folk, obscure rock and a small dash of blues gives my larynx its voice and my phlanges their movement, a merry acoustic broth to feed your morning munchies and be your midnight feast.
After arriving in the world and emerging from the cabbage patch i learnt to walk and talk. After two decades i found myself sturdy enough to stand in the light of others. Wandering for many days and nights through valleys and over very big mountains i eventually found the house. The house where i began to play and subsequently stumbled across my own voice and fingers bubbling in a cauldron and after hastily retrieving these most important of all musical tools ran forth to show the world.
Julian Gaskell & his Ragged Trousered Philanthropists will be returning from their tours of the Isles of Scilly and 'The North' to play at The Acorn in Penzance, and the Phoenix in Exeter on 17th and 18th April, respectively. Support on both dates will be amply supplied by their feral folkie friends from Devon 'Bert Miller and the Animal Folk'.
