Every Monday I host the Monday Night Open Mic at Marly's from 9pm til 1am, then keep the party rockin with 2 more hours of dancin' down at Bar Oasis til 3am.
Every Wednesday I play up at Stella Blue with Dave L. from the Station from 1am til 3am.
Every Thursday I play at Lookers Sports Bar in Beardstown with Dave L. from the Station from 8pm til 12am.
Every Friday my 3-piece band "One Frew Free" will be playing at J. P. Kelly's from 9pm til 12am.

My thoughts on American Idol
Professional Singer/Songwriter that has been at the game for over ten years now, and what a wicked game it has been!!! Looking back, I have played with some really talented musicians, dealt with some real asshole bar owners, and played to crowds ranging from 1 to over a thousand. I have achieved one of my main goals in life and that is to be a full time musician. Although, I must admit it hasn't been a very lavish one. I truly am living my dream, I just need to kick it up to the next level.
My next mountain I want to chop down with the edge of my hand, is to become a successful touring musician. I know a lot bands that tour but don't make jack shit or even worse go in the hole financially. I don't want to be that guy or that band. This business is truly a double edged sword. On one hand it is the coolest thing in the world to do, but then on the other hand, to play your own music and get paid for it ( and when I say get paid for it I mean cash money that I can actually pay bills with, not free beer or food, or "hey it will be great exposure") is a lot tougher than it sounds. At times I have felt like the cheapest, dirtiest whore in the world all in the name of my music. Literally doing what ever it takes to get one more gig or get one more person to a show. Lord knows I have been screwed as many times as a whore!!! In this game everybody wants something for nothing. Ask any musician and I'm pretty sure they'll tell you a similar story. Although on the flip side of that coin, all it takes is one good show or one good set or hell even one good song or jam to make you forget about all the bullshit that comes along with it, even if it's just for that night. Talk about the ultimate drug!!! Let's put it this way, I have been smoking swag for too long now, it's high time I started to smoke the kind. I have been paying dues so long now I forgot what I was paying. The fruit on my tree is ripe for the picking and I'm just looking for that right something to pick it!!!
I'm doing everything I can within my financial boundaries to take my career to the next level.

I had my marketing cap on about a week ago and with all the bad news; the Taliban in Pakistan, the looming Chyrsler bankruptcy, the new flu epidemic, etc; I decided to go with a more optimistic theme for this summer in a bumper sticker (old school). I think its working. There are currently a little more than 50 cars in the Branson area sporting this lil’ beauty. (Yes, I comped them) What do you think?
