Bio:

I have been playing keyboards for 8 years and drums for 4. I am in three bands that play around the north carolina triangle and pittsboro area. I play both drums and keyboards Old 86, an original band which has been together for the past 3 years and still has all the original members, and keeps getting better and better. I play keyboards in Joe Bell and the Stinging Blades, a blues/new orleans/southern rock/funk group who have recently celebrated their 20th anniversary. I play mostly drums and some keyboards in Cole Park, another original teenage group that is more songwriting-oriented and less instrumental-oriented than Old 86. I play a Nord Electro 2, have a Deluxe Memory Man delay pedal, an Alesis Micron, and have recently acquired a HAMMOND M3! I also have Grestch drums.

I'll put my current 10-ish favorite artists. Sly & The Family Stone, P Funk, The Derek Trucks Band, Little Feat, Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Delbert McClinton, Booker T & The Mgs (and all their Stax recordings), Otis Redding, Al Green, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Meters, James Brown, John Hiatt (especially his solo cds Crossing Muddy Waters, Bring The Family, and Slow Turning).

Sounds Like:

A drum kit, a bass, a few keyboards, and a lot of spare time
