Depends on which group. Some of the musicians I’m working with are : Olivier Stalon, Stephan Pougin, Chris Mentens, Jacques Pirotton, Eric Moens, Jean-Paul Estievenart, Nicolas L’herbette, Sebastiaan DeKrom, Eric Vermeulen, Bai Kamara, Fred Donche and a cast of a thousand others.
Influences
Could be anything from Andy Williams (remember him) to the Clangers (remember them!!!), Jimmy Giuffre and Harry Secombe (Sir)! Otherwise I would say that it seems important to give credit to the local scene players!? My selection for names to follow in my neck of the wood could be : Steven Delannoye, Nicolas Kummert, Michael Blass, Toine Thys, Bert Dockx & Mr Space Eric Vermeulen. And many others I'm sure.

Everyone else - well, there must be plenty of people out there making the same types of music after all, n'est pas!
------I'm a Sax/Clarinet/tube blowing musician living over in the center of Euro-Land teaching and blowing, if one can say that! The music that you hear on this site is a little selection of what I'm involved in at the present time. I'm not famous, haven't played with anyone famous and probably won't (read definately) won't become a household name. If you visit my website you'll maybe find out a few more interesting details concerning yours truly! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the meanwhile thanks for visiting my 'MySpace'. I try to rotate the friends on my top 15 on a regular basis, this way all the people I accept get into the top 15 from time to time. Also people visiting the site get a chance to see some new faces - NOT just famous people that I don't even know!! ---------- If you feel like contacting me to link up via the friends page I'd be most interested to hear from you (and to know a little bit about you). Do people really know who is on their 'friends' pages.........If you've got more than a 10,000 'Friends' you probably don't need to add me?! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------You can always get more info and news from my website at www.joehigham.com, just look across the page and click on the link in General Info......who is this General Info anyway?!........ I hope you enjoy the music and if so maybe get a chance to meet up and play one of these days.

I love Brussell Sproots with saxophone, hee hee. Oh it is summer anything is possible, Julian did you hear that! No jams at BAr Music at mo, but oxford is a nice place. kx
Hey Joe, YUL is a band that was created thanks to my many travels to Montreal. We made a CD a few years ago, hardly play at all, but this is definitely one of my favorite bands ! Drums and sax improvise freely around the bass players composed lines. I'll see if I can put some more songs on "my"space... peace. erwin
Tarmac? strange smell...even stranger effects upon inhalation of the noxious fumes, which abounded in plenty at the time! look forward to meeting in March. G.
Thanks Joe,glad you liked it. We have indeed great & serious fun with this band! Thanks for coming & yes, let's hang & jam some in 2009!All the best with everything,Bart
