Joe Iantosca is a songwriter from Monmouth County, NJ. Since his first major label cut “The Hard Times” recorded by Billy Joe Royal on Atlantic Records, Joe has written songs with several accomplished songwriters, including Nashville’s Jerry Vandiver. Jerry has included their song “A Smile and A Tear” on his own CD, which is part of the songwriters CD collection available at the famed Bluebird Café in Nashville.
Although a great song doesn’t have to be country, he writes with Nashville in mind because he believes “the best songs written today originate in Nashville or by writers who are influenced by such well-crafted and meaningful music”.
In 2009, “Stranger In The Mirror”, a song co-written with Wil Hercek and Bon Jovi’s David Bryan was completed and “Something To Fall Back On”, written with East Coast Regional artist Michael Patrick became the title cut on Michaels new CD. Joe is now a featured writer with 16th Ave. Records of Nashville through a licensing agreement for "The View From Here" which is now featured in their song catalog.
